حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ ضَرَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَثَلَ الْبَخِيلِ وَالْمُتَصَدِّقِ کَمَثَلِ رَجُلَيْنِ عَلَيْهِمَا جُبَّتَانِ مِنْ حَدِيدٍ قَدْ اضْطُرَّتْ أَيْدِيهِمَا إِلَی ثُدِيِّهِمَا وَتَرَاقِيهِمَا فَجَعَلَ الْمُتَصَدِّقُ کُلَّمَا تَصَدَّقَ بِصَدَقَةٍ انْبَسَطَتْ عَنْهُ حَتَّی تَغْشَی أَنَامِلَهُ وَتَعْفُوَ أَثَرَهُ وَجَعَلَ الْبَخِيلُ کُلَّمَا هَمَّ بِصَدَقَةٍ قَلَصَتْ وَأَخَذَتْ کُلُّ حَلْقَةٍ بِمَکَانِهَا قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَأَنَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ بِإِصْبَعِهِ هَکَذَا فِي جَيْبِهِ فَلَوْ رَأَيْتَهُ يُوَسِّعُهَا وَلَا تَتَوَسَّعُ تَابَعَهُ ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَأَبُو الزِّنَادِ عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ فِي الْجُبَّتَيْنِ وَقَالَ حَنْظَلَةُ سَمِعْتُ طَاوُسًا سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ جُبَّتَانِ وَقَالَ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ جُبَّتَانِ

Narrated Al-Mughira bin Shu`ba: The Prophet went to answer the call of nature, and when he returned, I met him with water and he performed the ablution while he was wearing a Sham, cloak. He rinsed his mouth, put the water in his nose and blew it out, washed his face and tried to take his hands out of his sleeves, but they were too narrow, so he took out his hands from under his chest and washed them and then passed his wet hands over his head and Khuffs (socks made from thick fabric or leather).

حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الضُّحَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَسْرُوقٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ انْطَلَقَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِحَاجَتِهِ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ فَتَلَقَّيْتُهُ بِمَائٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَعَلَيْهِ جُبَّةٌ شَأْمِيَّةٌ فَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ فَذَهَبَ يُخْرِجُ يَدَيْهِ مِنْ کُمَّيْهِ فَکَانَا ضَيِّقَيْنِ فَأَخْرَجَ يَدَيْهِ مِنْ تَحْتِ الْجُبَّةِ فَغَسَلَهُمَا وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَعَلَی خُفَّيْهِ

Narrated Al-Mughira: One night I was with the Prophet on a journey. He asked (me), "Have you got water with you?" I replied, "Yes" So he got down from his she-camel and went away till he disappeared in the darkness of the night. Then he came back and I poured water for him from the pot (for the ablution). He washed his face and hands while he was wearing a woollen cloak (the sleeves of which were narrow), so he could not take his arms out of it. So he took them out from underneath the cloak. Then he washed his forearms and passed his wet hands over his head. Then I tried to take off his Khuffs (socks made from thick fabric or leather), but he said, "Leave them, for I have performed ablution before putting them on." And so he passed his wet hands over them.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا زَکَرِيَّائُ عَنْ عَامِرٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ کُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ فِي سَفَرٍ فَقَالَ أَمَعَکَ مَائٌ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ فَنَزَلَ عَنْ رَاحِلَتِهِ فَمَشَی حَتَّی تَوَارَی عَنِّي فِي سَوَادِ اللَّيْلِ ثُمَّ جَائَ فَأَفْرَغْتُ عَلَيْهِ الْإِدَاوَةَ فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِ جُبَّةٌ مِنْ صُوفٍ فَلَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ أَنْ يُخْرِجَ ذِرَاعَيْهِ مِنْهَا حَتَّی أَخْرَجَهُمَا مِنْ أَسْفَلِ الْجُبَّةِ فَغَسَلَ ذِرَاعَيْهِ ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ ثُمَّ أَهْوَيْتُ لِأَنْزِعَ خُفَّيْهِ فَقَالَ دَعْهُمَا فَإِنِّي أَدْخَلْتُهُمَا طَاهِرَتَيْنِ فَمَسَحَ عَلَيْهِمَا

Narrated Al-Miswar bin Makhrama: Allah's Apostle distributed some Qaba's but he did not give anything to Makhrama. Makhrama said (to me), "O my son! Let us go to Allah's Apostle." So I proceeded with him and he said, "Go in and call him 'or me." So I called the Prophet for him The Prophet came out to him, wearing one of those Qaba's and said, (to Makhrama), "I have kept this for you " Makhrama looked at it and said, "Makhrama is satisfied now."

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَی بْنُ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ ذَکَرَ فِي الْإِزَارِ مَا ذَکَرَ قَالَ أَبُو بَکْرٍ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ إِزَارِي يَسْقُطُ مِنْ أَحَدِ شِقَّيْهِ قَالَ إِنَّکَ لَسْتَ مِنْهُمْ

Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet continued for such-and-such period imagining that he has slept (had sexual relations) with his wives, and in fact he did not. One day he said, to me, "O `Aisha! Allah has instructed me regarding a matter about which I had asked Him. There came to me two men, one of them sat near my feet and the other near my head. The one near my feet, asked the one near my head (pointing at me), 'What is wrong with this man? The latter replied, 'He is under the effect of magic.' The first one asked, 'Who had worked magic on him?' The other replied, 'Lubaid bin Asam.' The first one asked, 'What material (did he use)?' The other replied, 'The skin of the pollen of a male date tree with a comb and the hair stuck to it, kept under a stone in the well of Dharwan."' Then the Prophet went to that well and said, "This is the same well which was shown to me in the dream. The tops of its date-palm trees look like the heads of the devils, and its water looks like the Henna infusion." Then the Prophet ordered that those things be taken out. I said, "O Allah's Apostle! Won't you disclose (the magic object)?" The Prophet said, "Allah has cured me and I hate to circulate the evil among the people." `Aisha added, "(The magician) Lubaid bin Asam was a man from Bani Zuraiq, an ally of the Jews."

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ مَکَثَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَذَا وَکَذَا يُخَيَّلُ إِلَيْهِ أَنَّهُ يَأْتِي أَهْلَهُ وَلَا يَأْتِي قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ فَقَالَ لِي ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ يَا عَائِشَةُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَفْتَانِي فِي أَمْرٍ اسْتَفْتَيْتُهُ فِيهِ أَتَانِي رَجُلَانِ فَجَلَسَ أَحَدُهُمَا عِنْدَ رِجْلَيَّ وَالْآخَرُ عِنْدَ رَأْسِي فَقَالَ الَّذِي عِنْدَ رِجْلَيَّ لِلَّذِي عِنْدَ رَأْسِي مَا بَالُ الرَّجُلِ قَالَ مَطْبُوبٌ يَعْنِي مَسْحُورًا قَالَ وَمَنْ طَبَّهُ قَالَ لَبِيدُ بْنُ أَعْصَمَ قَالَ وَفِيمَ قَالَ فِي جُفِّ طَلْعَةٍ ذَکَرٍ فِي مُشْطٍ وَمُشَاقَةٍ تَحْتَ رَعُوفَةٍ فِي بِئْرِ ذَرْوَانَ فَجَائَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ هَذِهِ الْبِئْرُ الَّتِي أُرِيتُهَا کَأَنَّ رُئُوسَ نَخْلِهَا رُئُوسُ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَکَأَنَّ مَائَهَا نُقَاعَةُ الْحِنَّائِ فَأَمَرَ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأُخْرِجَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَهَلَّا تَعْنِي تَنَشَّرْتَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَّا اللَّهُ فَقَدْ شَفَانِي وَأَمَّا أَنَا فَأَکْرَهُ أَنْ أُثِيرَ عَلَی النَّاسِ شَرًّا قَالَتْ وَلَبِيدُ بْنُ أَعْصَمَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ حَلِيفٌ لِيَهُودَ

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false tales; and do not look for the others' faults and do not spy, and do not be jealous of one another, and do not desert (cut your relation with) one another, and do not hate one another; and O Allah's worshipers! Be brothers (as Allah has ordered you!")

Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah's Apostle said, "Do not hate one another, and do not be jealous of one another, and do not desert each other, and O, Allah's worshipers! Be brothers. Lo! It is not permissible for any Muslim to desert (not talk to) his brother (Muslim) for more than three days."

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِکٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَبَاغَضُوا وَلَا تَحَاسَدُوا وَلَا تَدَابَرُوا وَکُونُوا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ إِخْوَانًا وَلَا يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false tales. and do not look for the others' faults, and do not do spying on one another, and do not practice Najsh, and do not be jealous of one another and do not hate one another, and do not desert (stop talking to) one another. And O, Allah's worshipers! Be brothers!"

Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet said, "I do not think that so-and-so and so-and-so know anything of our religion." (And Al-Laith said, "These two persons were among the hypocrites.")

Narrated Al-Laith: `Aisha said "The Prophet entered upon me one day and said, 'O `Aisha! I do not think that so-and-so and so-and-so know anything of our religion which we follow."'

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بِهَذَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ دَخَلَ عَلَيّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ "يَا عَائِشَةُ مَا أَظُنُّ فُلَانًا وَفُلَانًا يَعْرِفَانِ دِينَنَا الَّذِي نَحْنُ عَلَيْهِ".

Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah's Apostle saying. "All the sins of my followers will be forgiven except those of the Mujahirin (those who commit a sin openly or disclose their sins to the people). An example of such disclosure is that a person commits a sin at night and though Allah screens it from the public, then he comes in the morning, and says, 'O so-and-so, I did such-and-such (evil) deed yesterday,' though he spent his night screened by his Lord (none knowing about his sin) and in the morning he removes Allah's screen from himself."

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ ابْنِ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ کُلُّ أُمَّتِي مُعَافًی إِلَّا الْمُجَاهِرِينَ وَإِنَّ مِنْ الْمُجَاهَرَةِ أَنْ يَعْمَلَ الرَّجُلُ بِاللَّيْلِ عَمَلًا ثُمَّ يُصْبِحَ وَقَدْ سَتَرَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ فَيَقُولَ يَا فُلَانُ عَمِلْتُ الْبَارِحَةَ کَذَا وَکَذَا وَقَدْ بَاتَ يَسْتُرُهُ رَبُّهُ وَيُصْبِحُ يَکْشِفُ سِتْرَ اللَّهِ عَنْهُ

Narrated Safwan bin Muhriz: A man asked Ibn `Umar, "What did you hear Allah's Apostle saying regarding An-Najwa (secret talk between Allah and His believing worshipper on the Day of Judgment)?" He said, "(The Prophet said), "One of you will come close to his Lord till He will shelter him in His screen and say: Did you commit such-and-such sin? He will say, 'Yes.' Then Allah will say: Did you commit such and such sin? He will say, 'Yes.' So Allah will make him confess (all his sins) and He will say, 'I screened them (your sins) for you in the world, and today I forgive them for you."'

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ مُحْرِزٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ کَيْفَ سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ فِي النَّجْوَی قَالَ يَدْنُو أَحَدُکُمْ مِنْ رَبِّهِ حَتَّی يَضَعَ کَنَفَهُ عَلَيْهِ فَيَقُولُ عَمِلْتَ کَذَا وَکَذَا فَيَقُولُ نَعَمْ وَيَقُولُ عَمِلْتَ کَذَا وَکَذَا فَيَقُولُ نَعَمْ فَيُقَرِّرُهُ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ إِنِّي سَتَرْتُ عَلَيْکَ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَأَنَا أَغْفِرُهَا لَکَ الْيَوْمَ

Narrated Haritha bin Wahb: Al-Khuzai: The Prophet said, "Shall I inform you about the people of Paradise? They comprise every obscure unimportant humble person, and if he takes Allah's Oath that he will do that thing, Allah will fulfill his oath (by doing that). Shall I inform you about the people of the Fire? They comprise every cruel, violent, proud and conceited person."

أَغْفِرُهَا لَکَ الْيَوْمَ ← إِنِّي سَتَرْتُ عَلَيْکَ فِي الدُّنْيَا ← نَعَمْ فَيُقَرِّرُهُ ثُمَّ ← عَمِلْتَ کَذَا وَکَذَا ← نَعَمْ ← عَمِلْتَ کَذَا وَکَذَا ← يَدْنُو أَحَدُکُمْ مِنْ رَبِّهِ حَتَّی يَضَعَ کَنَفَهُ عَلَيْهِ ← فِي النَّجْوَی ← رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ← صَفْوَانَ بْنِ مُحْرِزٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ کَيْفَ ← قَتَادَةَ ← أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، ← مُسَدَّدٌ
