حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَی وَهُوَ ابْنُ الطَّبَّاعِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ أَنَّهُ صلی الله عليه وسلم کَانَ يَتَخَتَّمُ فِي يَمِينِهِ

It is related from Hazrat Anas radiyallahu anhu that the Prophet of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallam wore a ring on the right hand, and some people have also related from Hazrat Anas radiyallahu anhu that the Prophet of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallam wore a ring on the left hand.

أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ أَنَّهُ کَانَ يَتَخَتَّمُ فِي يَمِينِهِ ← قَتَادَةَ ← سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، ← عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَی وَهُوَ ابْنُ الطَّبَّاعِ ← عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ مُوسَی بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ اتَّخَذَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلی الله عليه وسلم خَاتَمًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَکَانَ يَلْبَسُهُ فِي يَمِينِهِ فَاتَّخَذَ النَّاسُ خَوَاتِيمَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَطَرَحَهُ صلی الله عليه وسلم وَقَالَ لا أَلْبَسُهُ أَبدًا فَطَرَحَ النَّاسُ خَوَاتِيمَهُمْ

Hazrat Ibn Umar radiyallahu anhu relates that the Prophet of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallam had a ring made of gold which he wore on his right hand. The Sahabah radiyallahu anhum in imitating the Prophet of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallam also had gold rings made for themselves. Thereafter, the Prophet of Allah sallallah alaihe wasallam threw away the gold ring and said, "I will never wear it again."

ابْنِ عُمَرَ ← نَافِعٍ ← مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، ← عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ← محمد بن عبيد الله المحاربي

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ کَانَتْ قَبِيعَةُ سَيْفِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلی الله عليه وسلم مِنْ فِضَّةٍ

Hazrat Anas radiyallahu anhu reports that the handle of the sword of the Prophet of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallam was made of silver.

کَانَتْ قَبِيعَةُ سَيْفِ رَسُولِ اللهِ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ ← أَنَسٍ، ← قَتَادَةَ ← أَبِي ← وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ قَالَ کَانَتْ قَبِيعَةُ سَيْفِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلی الله عليه وسلم مِنْ فِضَّةٍ

Hazrat Saeed bin Abil Hasan Basri radiyallahu anhu has related the same hadith that the handle grip of the sword of the Prophet of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallam was made of silver.

کَانَتْ قَبِيعَةُ سَيْفِ رَسُولِ اللهِ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ ← سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ← قَتَادَةَ ← أَبِي ← مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صُدْرَانَ الْبَصْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا طَالِبُ بْنُ حُجَيْرٍ عَنْ هُودٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلی الله عليه وسلم مَکَّةَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ وَعَلَی سَيْفِهِ ذَهَبٌ وَفِضَّةٌ قَالَ طَالِبٌ فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْفِضَّةِ فَقَالَ کَانَتْ قَبِيعَةُ السَّيْفِ فِضَّةً

Hazrat Mazeedah bin Malik, the (maternal) grandfather of Hud says that when the Prophet of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallam entered Makkah on the day it was conquered, his sword had gold and silver on it. Talib who is one of the narrators of this hadith says that he asked the ustaadh, "On which part of the sword was the silver?" He replied, "The cap of the grip handle was made of silver."

الْفِضَّةِ فَقَالَ کَانَتْ قَبِيعَةُ السَّيْفِ فِضَّةً ← طَالِبٌ فَسَأَلْتُهُ ← دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ مَکَّةَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ وَعَلَی سَيْفِهِ ذَهَبٌ وَفِضَّةٌ ← جَدِّهِ، ← هُودٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ← طَالِبُ بْنُ حُجَيْرٍ ← أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صُدْرَانَ الْبَصْرِيُّ

حَدَّثَنَا محمد بن شجاع البغدادی حَدَّثَنَا أبو عبيدة الحداد عن عثمان بن سعد عن ابن سيرين قال صنعت سيفي علی سيف سمرة بن جندب وزعم سمرة أنه صنع سَيْفِه علی سيف رَسُولِ اللهِ صلی الله عليه وسلم وکان حنيفيا حدثنا عقبة بن مکرم البصري قال حدثنا محمد بن بکر عن عثمان بن سعد بهذا الإسناد نحوه

Ibn Seereen says, "I made my sword like the sword of Samurah bin Jundub radiyallahu anhu. He said that he had his sword made in the same manner as the one the Prophet of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallam had. The sword was the type used by the tribe of Banu Hanifah."

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُکَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ يَحْيَی بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ قَالَ کَانَ عَلَی النَّبِيِّ صلی الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ دِرْعَانِ فَنَهَضَ إِلَی الصَّخْرَةِ فَلَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَأَقْعَدَ طَلْحَةَ تَحْتَهُ وَصَعِدَ النَّبِيُّ صلی الله عليه وسلم حَتَّی اسْتَوَی عَلَی الصَّخْرَةِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلی الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ أَوْجَبَ طَلْحَةُ

Hazrat Zubair bin Al-Awwaam radiyallahu anhu relates that the Prophet of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallam wore two suits of armour on his auspicious body in the Battle of Uhud (Dhaatul Fadl and Fiddah). The Prophet of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallam intended climbing a hill but (since it was huge and due to the heavy weight of the two armours and the difficulties he confronted causing his auspicious face to bleed, as a result) he could not do so. He therefore requested Talhah radiyallahu anhu to sit and, with his aid, climbed the hill. Zubair radiyallahu anhu said, "I heard the Prophet of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallam say, "It has become wajib (Jannah or the intercession of the Prophet of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallam) for Talhah."

الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ، ← جَدِّهِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، ← أَبِيهِ ← يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ← مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ← يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ← أَبُو سَعِيدٍ عَبْد اللَّه بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَشَجُّ،

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُصَيْفَةَ عَنِ السَّائِب بْنِ يَزِيدَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلی الله عليه وسلم کَانَ عَلَيْهِ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ دِرْعَانِ قَدْ ظَاهَرَ بَيْنَهُمَا

Hazrat Saa'ib bin Yazeed radiyallahu anhu says, "In the Battle of Uhud the Prophet of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallam wore two suits of armour. He wore one over the other."

السَّائِبَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ ← يَزِيدُ بْنُ خُصَيْفَةَ1 ← سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِکُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلی الله عليه وسلم دَخَلَ مَکَّةَ وَعَلَيْهِ مِغْفَرٌ فَقِيلَ لَهُ هَذَا ابْنُ خَطَلٍ مُتَعَلِّقٌ بِأَسْتَارِ الْکَعْبَةِ فَقَالَ اقْتُلُوهُ

Hazrat Anas radiyallahu anhu reports that, on the day when Makkah was conquered, the Prophet of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallam wore a helmet when they entered the city. (The Prophet of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallam removed the helmet after being satisfied that everything was under control). Someone came to the Prophet of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallam and said, "O' Messenger of Allah, this Ibn Khatl is holding the cover (black cloth) of the Ka'bah."The Propet of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallam replied, "Kill him."

اَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ، ← ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، ← مالک بن أنس ← قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ

حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَی بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِکُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلی الله عليه وسلم دَخَلَ مَکَّةَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ وَعَلَی رَأْسِهِ الْمِغْفَرُ قَالَ فَلَمَّا نَزَعَهُ جَائَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ لَهُ ابْنُ خَطَلٍ مُتَعَلِّقٌ بِأَسْتَارِ الْکَعْبَةِ فَقَالَ اقْتُلُوهُ قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ وَبَلَغَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلی الله عليه وسلم لَمْ يَکُنْ يَوْمَئِذٍ مُحْرِمًا

It is related from Hazrat Anas radiyallahu anhu that the Prophet of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallam, when entering Makkah as a conqueror, wore a helmet on his auspicious head. After he had removed it, a person came and said, "O' Messenger of Allah, Ibn Khatl is clinging to the cover of the Ka'bah." The Prophet of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallam replied, "He is not of the ones who have been granted amnesty, kill him." Ibn Shihaab Zuhri says, "I have been informed that the Prophet of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallam was not in the state of Ihraam."

اَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ، ← ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، ← مالک بن أنس ← عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ← عِيسَی بْنُ أَحْمَدَ

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ )ح( حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صلی الله عليه وسلم مَکَّةَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَائُ

Hazrat Jabir radiyallahu anhu reports that when Makkah was conquered, Rasoolullah sallallahu alaihe wasallam entered the city wearing a black turban.

دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ مَکَّةَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَائُ ← جَابِرٍ ← أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ← حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ← وَكِيعٌ، ← مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلانَ ← حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ← عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مُسَاوِرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلی الله عليه وسلم يَخْطُبُ عَلَی الْمِنْبَرِ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَائُ

Hazrat Amr bin Huraith radiyallahu anhu says, "I had seen Rasoolullah sallallahu alaihe wasallam wear a black turban."

رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ يَخْطُبُ عَلَی الْمِنْبَرِ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَائُ ← أَبِيهِ ← جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ ← مُسَاوِرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ ← سُفْيَانَ، ← ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ
