حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ لَهِيعَةَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ هُبَيْرَةَ السَّبَائِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ وَعْلَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ إِنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ سَبَأٍ مَا هُوَ أَرَجُلٌ أَمْ امْرَأَةٌ أَمْ أَرْضٌ فَقَالَ بَلْ هُوَ رَجُلٌ وَلَدَ عَشَرَةً فَسَكَنَ الْيَمَنَ مِنْهُمْ سِتَّةٌ وَبِالشَّامِ مِنْهُمْ أَرْبَعَةٌ فَأَمَّا الْيَمَانِيُّونَ فَمَذْحِجٌ وَكِنْدَةُ وَالْأَزْدُ وَالْأَشْعَرِيُّونَ وَأَنْمَارٌ وَحِمْيَرُ عَرَبًا كُلَّهَا وَأَمَّا الشَّامِيَّةُ فَلَخْمٌ وَجُذَامُ وَعَامِلَةُ وَغَسَّانُ

It was narrated that 'Abdur-Rahman bin Wa'lah said: I heard Ibn 'Abbas (RA) say: A man asked the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) about Saba': was it a man or a woman or a land? He said: "It was a man who had ten sons, six of whom lived in Yemen and four in Syria. As for those who lived in Yemen, they were Madhhij, Kindah, al-Azd, al-Ash'ariyyoon, Anmar and Himyar, and all of them are Arabs. As for those who lived in Syria, they were: Lakhm, Judham, 'Amilah and Ghassan.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فَجَاءَتْ جَارِيَتَانِ حَتَّى قَامَتَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ عِنْدَ رَأْسِهِ فَنَحَّاهُمَا وَأَوْمَأَ بِيَدَيْهِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (RA) said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) was praying, and two young girls came and stood in front of him, at his head. He pushed them aside and gestured to his right and to his left.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَوْلَى آلِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ كَانَ اسْمُ جُوَيْرِيَةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَرَّةَ فَحَوَّلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْمَهَا فَسَمَّاهَا جُوَيْرِيَةَ

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (RA): The name of Juwairiyah bint al-Harith, the wife of the Prophet (PBUH) was Barrah. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) changed her name and called her Juwairiyah.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ عَنْ عِلْبَاءَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ خَطَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَرْبَعَةَ خُطُوطٍ قَالَ أَتَدْرُونَ مَا هَذَا قَالُوا اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَفْضَلُ نِسَاءِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ خَدِيجَةُ بِنْتُ خُوَيْلِدٍ وَفَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَمَرْيَمُ بِنْتُ عِمْرَانَ وَآسِيَةُ بِنْتُ مُزَاحِمٍ امْرَأَةُ فِرْعَوْنَ

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (RA) said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) drew four lines on the ground and said: "Do you know what this is?" They said: Allah and His Messenger know best. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "The best of the women of the people of Paradise are Khadeejah bint Khuwailid, Fatimah bint Muhammad, Maryam bint 'Imran and Asiyah bint Muzahim, the wife of Pharaoh."

حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ أَخْبَرَنَا لَيْثٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَوْ كُرَيْبٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبَّاسٍ مَرَّ بِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي مَضْفُورَ الرَّأْسِ مَعْقُودًا مِنْ وَرَائِهِ فَوَقَفَ عَلَيْهِ فَلَمْ يَبْرَحْ يَحُلُّ عُقَدَ رَأْسِهِ فَأَقَرَّ لَهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ حَتَّى فَرَغَ مِنْ حَلِّهِ ثُمَّ جَلَسَ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ ابْنُ الْحَارِثِ مِنْ الصَّلَاةِ أَتَاهُ فَقَالَ عَلَامَ صَنَعْتَ بِرَأْسِي مَا صَنَعْتَ بِرَأْسِي آنِفًا قَالَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَثَلُ الَّذِي يُصَلِّي وَرَأْسُهُ مَعْقُودٌ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ كَمَثَلِ الَّذِي يُصَلِّي مَكْتُوفًا

It was narrated from Shu'bah the freed slave of Ibn 'Abbas or Kuraib the freed slave of Ibn 'Abbas (RA) that 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas (RA) passed by Abdullah bin al-Harith bin Abi Rabee'ah when he was praying with his hair in braids, tied at the back. He stood over him and started undoing the braids, and 'Abdullah bin al-Harith let him carry on until he had finished undoing it and then sat down. When Ibn al-Harith finished praying, he came to him and said: Why did you do what you did to my head just now? He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah say: "The likeness of the one who prays with his hair tied up at the back is like one who prays with his hands tied behind his back."

و حَدَّثَنَاه مُؤَمَّلٌ أَيْضًا عَنْ سُفْيَانَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَيْضًا

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar: I heard Ibn 'Umar say: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "The likeness of this ummah - or he said: my ummah - and that of the Jews and Christians is the Likeness of a man who said: 'Who will work for me from morning until midday for one qiraat?' The jews said: 'We will,’ and they did that. Then he said: 'Who will work for me from midday until the time of Asr prayer for one qiraat?' The Christians said: 'We will,’ and they did that. And you Muslims are working from the time of Asr prayer until nightfall for two qiraat s. The jews and Christians got angry and said 'We did more work and we get less reward! He said: 'Have I wronged you at all with regard to your reward? They said: 'No-' He said: That is My bounty; I bestow it upon whomever I will."

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَثَلُ الَّذِي يُصَلِّي وَرَأْسُهُ مَعْقُوصٌ كَمَثَلِ الَّذِي يُصَلِّي وَهُوَ مَكْتُوفٌ

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (RA) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah say: "The likeness of the one who prays with his hair gathered and twisted is that of one who prays with his hands tied behind his back."

حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ عَامِرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْتَجَمَ ثَلَاثًا فِي الْأَخْدَعَيْنِ وَبَيْنَ الْكَتِفَيْنِ وَأَعْطَى الْحَجَّامَ أُجْرَتَهُ وَلَوْ كَانَ حَرَامًا لَمْ يُعْطِهِ إِيَّاهُ

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet was treated with cupping in the veins at the sides of the neck and between his shoulders, and he gave the cupper his fee. If it were in ram, he would not have given him his fee.

حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ اَخْبَرَنَا شَرِیکٌ عَنْ اَبِی إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعِیدِ بْنِ جُبَیْرِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ کَانَ النَّبِیُّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ یُوتِرُ بِثَلَاثٍ بِسَبَّحِ اسْمَ رَبَّکَ الْاَعْلَی وَقُلْ یَا أَیُّھَا الْکَافِرُونَ وَقُلْ ھُوَ اللہُ أَحَدٌ۔

It was narrated that Ibn abbas (RA) said: The Prophet (PBUH) used to pray Witr with three soorahs), with Sabbih isrna rnbbikal- 'la, Qul ya ayyithal-kafiroon and qul Huwallahu Ahad,

حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ الم تَنْزِيلُ السَّجْدَةَ وَهَلْ أَتَى عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ

It w'as narrated from Ibn abbas (RA) that the Prophet (PBUH) used to recite in Fajr prayer on friday’. Alif-Lam-Meem. Tanzeel soorat as-Sajdah) and Hal ata ' alal - san heenun minad-dahr (Soorat al- nisan).

حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ التَّمِيمِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَاجِدًا قَدْ خَوَّى حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ إِبْطَيْهِ

It w r as narrated that Ibn abbas (RA) said: I saw the Prophet fe) prostrating w'ith his arms spread so wide that I could see the whiteness of his armpits.

حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ التَّمِيمِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ تَدَبَّرْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرَأَيْتُهُ سَاجِدًا مُخَوِّيًا وَرَأَيْتُ بَيَاضَ إِبْطَيْهِ

It was narrated that Ibn abbas (RA) said: i looked at the lessenger of Allah (PBUH) and I saw' im prostrating with his arms spread, and I saw the w'hiteness of his armpits.

تَدَبَّرْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَرَأَيْتُهُ سَاجِدًا مُخَوِّيًا وَرَأَيْتُ بَيَاضَ إِبْطَيْهِ ← ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ← التميمي ← أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ← اِسْرَائِیْلُ ← أَسْوَدُ
