حَدَّثَنَا یَحْیَی بْنُ بَشْرٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُوْ قَطَنٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِيْ سَلَمَۃَ۔یَعْنِيْ عَبْدَالْعَذِیْزِ۔عَنْ قُدَامَۃَ بْنِ مُوْسیَ، عَنْ أَبِيْ صَالَحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيْ ھُرَیْرَۃَ ؓ قَالَ: کَانَ رَسُوْلُ اللہِ ﷺ یَدْعُوْ:((اللَّھُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِيْ دِیِنْي الَّذِيْ ھُوَ عِصْمَۃُ أَمْرِیْ ، وَأَصْلِحْ لِيْ دُنْیَايَ فِیْھَا مَعَاشِیْ، وَاجْعَلِ الْمَوْتَ رَحْمَتہً لِيْ مِنْ کُلَّ سُوْءٍ))، أَوْکَمَا قَالَ

Abu Hurayra reported, "The Messenger of , may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to use this supplication: 'O Allah, make my deen correct it is the support of my affairs. Make my deen correct it contains my livelihood. Make death a mercy for me from every evil.'"

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْیَانُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُمَيُِّ عَنْ أَبِيْ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ ابِيْ ھُرَیْرَۃَ ؓ قَالَ: کَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ یَتَعَوُّذُ مِنْ جَھْدِالْبَّلاءِ، وَدَرْکِ الشَّقَاءِ، وَسُوْءِ الْقَضَاءِ ، وَشَماَتَہِ اْلَٔا عْدَاءِ۔قَالَ سُفْیَانُ: فِي الْحَدِیْثِ ثَلاثٌ، زِدْتُ أَنَا وَاحِدَۃً، لَا أَدْرِيْ أَیَتُھُنَّ

Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to seek refuge "from the trouble of affliction, meeting with wretchedness, an evil decree, and the gloating of enemies."(Sufyan, one of the transmitters said, "There were three items in the hadith. I added one, but I do not know which one.")

وَاحِدَةً، لَا أَدْرِي أَيَّتُهُنَّ ← سُفْيَانُ: فِي الْحَدِيثِ ثَلَاثٌ،زِدْتُ ← کَانَ النَّبِيُّ یَتَعَوُّذُ مِنْ جَھْدِالْبَّلاءِ، وَدَرْکِ الشَّقَاءِ، وَسُوْءِ الْقَضَاءِ وَشَماَتَہِ اْلَٔا عْدَاءِ۔ ← أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ← اَبِیْ صَالِحٍ ← سُمَيٍّ ← سُفْيَانَ، ← عَلِيٍّ،

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَیْدُاللہِ، عَنْ أِسْرَاءیِلَ، عَنْ أَبِيْ اإِسْحَاقَ، عَنٌ عَمْرِوبْنِ مَیْمُوْن ، عَنْ عُمَر قَالَ: کَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ یَتَعَوَّذُ مَنَ الْخَمْسِ: مَنَ الْکَسَلِ ، وَالْبُخْلِ، وسُوْءِ الْکِبرَ، وَفِتْنَۃِ الْصَّدْرِ، وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

'Umar said, "The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to seek refuge from five things: laziness, miserliness, bad pride, the trial of what is in the breast, and the punishment of the grave."

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِيْ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِکِ ؓ یَقُوْلُ: کَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ یُقُوْلُ:((اللَّھُمَّ اِنَّي أَعُوْذُبِکَ مِنَ الْعَجْذِ وَالْکَسَلِ ، وَالْجُیْنِ وَالْھَرَمِ ، َوأَعُوْذُبِکَ مَنْ فِتْنَۃِ الْمَحْیَا وَالْمَمَاتِ، وَأَعُوِذُبِکَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ))

Anas ibn Malik said, "The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to say, 'O Allah, I seek refuge with You from incapacity, laziness, cowardice and old age. I seek refuge with You from the trials of life and death. I seek refuge with You from the punishment of the grave.'"

حَدَّثَنَا الْمَکَّيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُاللہِ بْن‘سَعِیْدِ بْنَ أَبيْ ھْندَ، عَنْ عَمْرِوبْنِ أَبِيْ عَمْرو، عَنْ أَنَسٍؓ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺیَقُوْلُ: ((اللھُّمُ َّ إِنَّيْ أَعُوْذُ بِکَ مَنَ الْھَمَّ وَالْحَذَنِ ، وَالْعَجْذِ وَالْکَسَلِ ، وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ ،وَضَلَعِ الدَّیْنِ، وَغَلَبَۃِ الرَّجَالِ))

Anas said, "I heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, 'O Allah, I seek refuge with You from concern, sorrow, incapacity, laziness, cowardice, miserliness, being deeply in debt and being overpowered by men.'"

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُاللہِ بْنُ عَبْدِالْوَھَّابَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُالرَّحْمَنِ الْمَسْعُوْدِيُِّ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَۃَ بْنِ مَرْثَدِ، عَنْ أَبِي الرَّبِیْعِ، عَنْ أَبِيْ ھُرَیْرَۃَ ؓ قَالَ: کَانَ مِنْ دُعَاءِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ:((اللَّھُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِيْ مَا قَّدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ، وَمَا أَسْوَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ ، وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِہِ مِنَّی ، إِنَّکَ أَنْتَ الْمُقَدَّمُ وَالْمُؤَخَّرُ، لَا إِلَہَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ))۔

Abu Hurayra said, "One of the supplications of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was 'O Allah, forgive me for my past and future wrong actions, what I conceal and what I divulge, and what You know of me. You are the One who puts ahead and delays. There is no god but You."

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُوْبْنُ مَرْزُوْقٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَۃُ، عَنْ أَبِيْ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي أَلَٔا حْوَصِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِاللہِ ؓ قَالَ: کَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ یَدْعُوْ:((اللَّھُمَّ إِنَّيْ أَسْأَلُکَ الْھُدَی، وَالْعَفَافَ، وَالْغِنِی))۔وَقَالَ أَصْحَابُنَا،عَنْ عَمْرِو:((وَالتُّقَی))

'Abdullah said, "The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to make this supplication, 'O Allah, I ask You for guidance, virtuousness and wealth.'"

کَانَ النَّبِيُّ یَدْعُوْ:((اللَّھُمَّ إِنَّيْ أَسْأَلُکَ الْھُدَی، وَالْعَفَافَ، وَالْغِنِی))۔وَقَالَ أَصْحَابُنَا،عَنْ عَمْرِو:((وَالتُّقَی)) ← عَبْدُاللٰہِ، ← أَبِي أَلَٔا حْوَصِ ← أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ← شُعْبَةُ، ← عَمْرُوْبْنُ مَرْزُوْقٍ

حَدَّثَنَا بَیَانٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا یَزِیْدُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْجُرَیْرِيُّ، عَنْ ثُمَامَۃَ بْنِ حَذٌن قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ شَیْخَایُنَادِيْ بِأَعْلیَ صَوْتِہِ: اللَّھُمَّ إِنَّي أَعُوْذُبِکَ مَنَ الشَّرَّ لَا یَخْلِطُہُ شَیْءٌ، قُلْتُ: مَنْ ھَذَا الّشَّیْخُ، قِیْلَ: أَبُوالدَّدَاءِؓ

Thumana ibn Huzn said, "I heard a shaykh call out in a loud voice, 'O Allah, I seek refuge with You from unadulterated evil.' I asked, 'Who is this shaykh?' I was told, 'Abu'd-Darda'.'"

ثُمَامَۃَ بْنِ حَذٌن ← الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، ← يَزِيدُ: ← بَيَانٍ

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَاللہِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُوْ عَامِرِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَاءِیْلُ ، عَنْ مَجْذَأَۃَ، عَنْ عَبْدِاللہِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَی ؓ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ کَانَ یَقُوْلُ:(( اللَّھُمَّ طَھَّرْنِيْ بِالثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرِدِ وَالْمَاءِ الْبِارِدِ، کَمَا یُطَھَّرُ الثَّوْبُ الدَّنِسُ مَنَ الْوَسَخِ))۔ثُمَّ یَقُوْلُ:((اللَّھُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَکَ الْحَمْدُ،مِلْءَ السَّمَاءِ وَمِلْءَ اَلَٔارْضِ ، وَمِلْ ءَ مَاشسِتَ مَنْ شَيْ ءٍ بَعْدُ))۔

'Abdullah ibn Abi 'Awfa reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to say, "O Allah, purify me with ice, snow and cold water as the dirty garment is cleansed of dirt. O Allah, our Lord, praise is Yours in quantity as great as the sky and as great as the earth and as great as You wish from anything beyond that."

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُوُبْنُ مَرْذُوْقٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَۃُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ، عَنْ أَنَسِ ؓ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ کَانَ یُکْثِر أَنْ یَدْعُوَ بِھَذَا الدُّعَاءِ:((اللَّھُمَّ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْیَا حَسَنَۃً، وَفِي الْآخِرَۃِ حَسَنَۃُ، وَقِنَا عَذَابَ الَّنارِ))۔قَالَ شُعْبَۃُ فَزَکَرْتُہُ لِقَتَادَۃَ، فَقَالَ: کَانَ أَنْسٌ یَدْعُوْبِہِ، وَلَمْ یَرْفَعْہُ

Anas reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to make supplication with this supplication, "O Prophet, give us good in this world and good in the Next World and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."

أَنَسٍ، ← ثَابِتٍ، ← شُعْبَةُ، ← عَمْرُوُبْنُ مَرْذُوْقٍ

حَدَّثَنَا مُوْسَی قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ۔یَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَۃَ۔عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللہِ بْنِ أَبِيْ طَلْلَحۃَ، عَنْ سَعِیْدِ بْنِ یَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِيْ ھُرَیْرَۃَ ؓؓکَانَ النَّبِيُ ﷺیَقُوْلُ: ((اللَّھُمَّ إِنَّيْ اَّعُوْذُبَکَ مَنَ الْفَقْرِ وَالْقِلَّۃِ وَالدَّ لَّۃِ، وَأَعُوذُبِکَ أَنْ أَظْلِلَمَ أوَ أُظْلَمَ))

Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to say, "O Prophet, I seek refuge with You from poverty, need and abasement. I seek refuge with You from being unjust or wronged."

أَبِيْ ھُرَیْرَۃَ ؓؓکَانَ النَّبِيُ ← سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، ← حَمَّادٌ۔یَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَۃَ۔عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللہِ بْنِ أَبِيْ طَلْلَحۃَ، ← مُوسَى

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِيْ بکْرِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ، عَنْ لَیْثٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيْ عَبْدِالرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيْ أُمَامَۃَؓ قَالَ: کُنَّاعِنْدَالنَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَدَعَا بِدْعَاءٍ کَثِیْرٍ لَمْ، نَحْفَظْہُ، فَقُلْنَا: دَعَوْتَ بِدُعَاءٍ لَا نَحْفَظُہُ؟ فَقَالَ:(( سَأُنَبَّسُکُمْ بِشْیْءٍ یَجْمَعُ ذَلِکَ کُلَّہُ لْکُمْ: اللَّھُمَّ !اإِنَّا نَسْالُکَ مِمَّا َسأْلَکَ نَبِیُّکَ مُحَمَّدٌ ﷺ، وَنَسْتَعِیْذُکَ مِمَّا اسْتَعَاذَکَ مِنْہُ نَبِیُّکَ مُحَمَّدٌ ﷺ، اللَّھُمَّ أَنْتَ الْمُسْتَعَانُ، وَعَلَیْکَ الْبَلَاعُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّۃَ إِلَّا باَللہِ))، أَوْکَمَا قَالَ

Abu Umama said, "We were with the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he made many supplications which we did not remember. We said, 'You make supplications which we do not remember.' He said, 'I will inform you of something which will combine all of them for you: "O Allah, We ask You for what Your Prophet Muhammad asked You, and we seek refuge with You from what Your Prophet Muhammad sought refuge. O Allah, You are the One to whom one turns for help and You are the One who brings it about. There is no power nor strength except by Allah," or words to that effect.'"

کُنَّاعِنْدَالنَّبِيَّ فَدَعَا بِدْعَاءٍ کَثِیْرٍ لَمْ، نَحْفَظْہُ، فَقُلْنَا: دَعَوْتَ بِدُعَاءٍ لَا نَحْفَظُہُ؟ ← اَبِیْ اُمَامَۃَ، ← أبي عبدِالرحمنِ، ← ثَابِتِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ1 ← لَيْثٌ، ← مُعْتَمِرٌ ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ،
