حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّی حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَی حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ قَالَ قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ نَسِيَ صَلَاةً أَوْ نَامَ عَنْهَا فَکَفَّارَتُهَا أَنْ يُصَلِّيَهَا إِذَا ذَکَرَهَا

This hadith has been narrated by Qatada, but here no mention has been made of There is no explation for it except this.

حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا الْمُثَنَّی عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا رَقَدَ أَحَدُکُمْ عَنْ الصَّلَاةِ أَوْ غَفَلَ عَنْهَا فَلْيُصَلِّهَا إِذَا ذَکَرَهَا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُولُ أَقِمْ الصَّلَاةَ لِذِکْرَی

Qatada narrated on the authority of Anas b. Malik that the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said: He who forgets the prayer, or he slept (and it was omitted), its expiation is (only) that he should observe it when he remembers it.

حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو کَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ قَالَ ح و حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَأَبُو کُرَيْبٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُّ مَسْجِدٍ وُضِعَ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَوَّلُ قَالَ الْمَسْجِدُ الْحَرَامُ قُلْتُ ثُمَّ أَيٌّ قَالَ الْمَسْجِدُ الْأَقْصَی قُلْتُ کَمْ بَيْنَهُمَا قَالَ أَرْبَعُونَ سَنَةً وَأَيْنَمَا أَدْرَکَتْکَ الصَّلَاةُ فَصَلِّ فَهُوَ مَسْجِدٌ وَفِي حَدِيثِ أَبِي کَامِلٍ ثُمَّ حَيْثُمَا أَدْرَکَتْکَ الصَّلَاةُ فَصَلِّهْ فَإِنَّهُ مَسْجِدٌ

This hadith has been narrated by A'mash with the came chain of transmitters, and in the narration of Abu Karaib the words are: Placing its (mantle's) ends on his shoulders ; and the narration transmitted by Abu Bakr and Suwaid (the words are): the ends crossing with each other .

حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ السَّعْدِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ التَّيْمِيِّ قَالَ کُنْتُ أَقْرَأُ عَلَی أَبِي الْقُرْآنَ فِي السُّدَّةِ فَإِذَا قَرَأْتُ السَّجْدَةَ سَجَدَ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ يَا أَبَتِ أَتَسْجُدُ فِي الطَّرِيقِ قَالَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ أَبَا ذَرٍّ يَقُولُ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أَوَّلِ مَسْجِدٍ وُضِعَ فِي الْأَرْضِ قَالَ الْمَسْجِدُ الْحَرَامُ قُلْتُ ثُمَّ أَيٌّ قَالَ الْمَسْجِدُ الْأَقْصَی قُلْتُ کَمْ بَيْنَهُمَا قَالَ أَرْبَعُونَ عَامًا ثُمَّ الْأَرْضُ لَکَ مَسْجِدٌ فَحَيْثُمَا أَدْرَکَتْکَ الصَّلَاةُ فَصَلِّ

Abu Dharr reported: I said: Messenger of Allah, which mosque was set up first on the earth? He said: Al-Masjid al-Haram (the sacred). I (again) said: Then which next? He said: It was the Masjid Aqsa. I (again) said: How long the space of time (between their setting up)? He (the Holy Prophet) said: It was forty years. And whenever the time comes for prayer, pray there, for that is a mosque; and in the hadith transmitted by Abu Kamil (the words are): Whenever time comes for prayer, pray, for that is a mosque (for you).

أَرْبَعُونَ عَامًا ثُمَّ الْأَرْضُ لَکَ مَسْجِدٌ فَحَيْثُمَا أَدْرَکَتْکَ الصَّلَاةُ فَصَلِّ ← الْمَسْجِدُ الْأَقْصَی قُلْتُ کَمْ بَيْنَهُمَا ← الْمَسْجِدُ الْحَرَامُ قُلْتُ ثُمَّ أَيٌّ ← أَوَّلِ مَسْجِدٍ وُضِعَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ← سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ← أَبَا ذَرٍّ ← إِنِّي ← السَّجْدَةَ سَجَدَ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ يَا أَبَتِ أَتَسْجُدُ فِي الطَّرِيقِ ← کُنْتُ أَقْرَأُ عَلَی أَبِي الْقُرْآنَ فِي السُّدَّةِ فَإِذَا ← إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ التَّيْمِيِّ ← الْاَعْمَشِ ← عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، ← عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ السَّعْدِيُّ

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ يَحْيَی أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ سَيَّارٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ الْفَقِيرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُعْطِيتُ خَمْسًا لَمْ يُعْطَهُنَّ أَحَدٌ قَبْلِي کَانَ کُلُّ نَبِيٍّ يُبْعَثُ إِلَی قَوْمِهِ خَاصَّةً وَبُعِثْتُ إِلَی کُلِّ أَحْمَرَ وَأَسْوَدَ وَأُحِلَّتْ لِيَ الْغَنَائِمُ وَلَمْ تُحَلَّ لِأَحَدٍ قَبْلِي وَجُعِلَتْ لِيَ الْأَرْضُ طَيِّبَةً طَهُورًا وَمَسْجِدًا فَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ أَدْرَکَتْهُ الصَّلَاةُ صَلَّی حَيْثُ کَانَ وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ مَسِيرَةِ شَهْرٍ وَأُعْطِيتُ الشَّفَاعَةَ

Ibrahim b. Yazid al-Tayml reported: I used to read the Qur'an with my father in the vestibule (before the door of the mosque). When I recited the ayat (verses) concerning prostration, he prostrated himself. I said to him: Father, do you prostrate yourself in the path? He said: I heard Abu Dharr saying: I asked the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) about the mosque that was first set up on the earth. He said: Masjid Harim. I said: Then which next? He said: The Masjid al-Aqsa. I said: How long is the space of time between the two? He said: Forty years. He (then) further said: The earth is a mosque for you, so wherever you are at the time of prayer, pray there.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا سَيَّارٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ الْفَقِيرُ أَخْبَرَنَا جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَذَکَرَ نَحْوَهُ

Jabir b. 'Abdullah al-Ansari reported: The Prophet ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said: I have been conferred upon five (things) which were not granted to anyone before me (and these are): Every apostle wassent particularly to his own people, whereas I have been sent to all the red and the black the spoils of war have been made lawful for me, and these were never made lawful to anyone before me, and the earth has been made sacred and pure and mosque for me, so whenever the time of prayer comes for any one of you he should pray whenever he is, and I have been supported by awe (by which the enemy is overwhelmed) from the distance (which one takes) one month to cover and I have been granted intercession.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِکٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فُضِّلْنَا عَلَی النَّاسِ بِثَلَاثٍ جُعِلَتْ صُفُوفُنَا کَصُفُوفِ الْمَلَائِکَةِ وَجُعِلَتْ لَنَا الْأَرْضُ کُلُّهَا مَسْجِدًا وَجُعِلَتْ تُرْبَتُهَا لَنَا طَهُورًا إِذَا لَمْ نَجِدْ الْمَائَ وَذَکَرَ خَصْلَةً أُخْرَی

Jabir b. 'Abdullah related that the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said, and he related like this.

حُذَيْفَةَ ← رِبْعِيٍّ ← أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ ← مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ← أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو کُرَيْبٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَائِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ طَارِقٍ حَدَّثَنِي رِبْعِيُّ بْنُ حِرَاشٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِثْلِهِ

Hudhaifa reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be npon him) said: We have been made to excel (other) people in three (things): Our rows have been made like the rows of the angels and the whole earth has been made a mosque for us, and its dust has been made a purifier for us in case water is not available. And he mentioned another characteristic too

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ أَيُّوبَ وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ الْعَلَائِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فُضِّلْتُ عَلَی الْأَنْبِيَائِ بِسِتٍّ أُعْطِيتُ جَوَامِعَ الْکَلِمِ وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ وَأُحِلَّتْ لِيَ الْغَنَائِمُ وَجُعِلَتْ لِيَ الْأَرْضُ طَهُورًا وَمَسْجِدًا وَأُرْسِلْتُ إِلَی الْخَلْقِ کَافَّةً وَخُتِمَ بِيَ النَّبِيُّونَ

Hudhaifa reported: The Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said like this.

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ← أَبِيهِ ← الْعَلَائُ ← إِسْمَعِيلُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ← يَحْيَی بْنُ أَيُّوبَ وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ

حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ وَحَرْمَلَةُ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بُعِثْتُ بِجَوَامِعِ الْکَلِمِ وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ وَبَيْنَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ أُتِيتُ بِمَفَاتِيحِ خَزَائِنِ الْأَرْضِ فَوُضِعَتْ بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَذَهَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْتَثِلُونَهَا

Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon hlmg) said: I have been given superiority over the other prophets in six respects: I have been given words which are concise but comprehensive in meaning; I have been helped by terror (in the hearts of enemies): spoils have been made lawful to me: the earth has been made for me clean and a place of worship; I have been sent to all mankind and the line of prophets is closed with me.

حَدَّثَنَا حَاجِبُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنْ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said: I have been commissioned with words which are concise but comprehensive in meaning; I have been helped by terror (in the hearts of enemies): and while I was asleep I was brought the keys of the treasures of the earth which were placed in my hand. And Abfi Huraira added: The Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) has left (for his heavenly home) and you are now busy in getting them.

Abu Huraira reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) saying a hadith like that of Yunus.
