وأخبرنا علی بن بشران ببغداد أخبرنا اسماعیل الصفار حدثنا الحسن بن علی بن عفان حدثنا ابن نمبیر عن الأعمش اسماعیل بن رجاءٍ عن أبیہ قال: رأیت البراء بن عازبٍ بال ثم توضأ، فمسح علی الجوربین والنعلین ثم صلی۔

وأخبرنا أبو عبداللہ الحافظ حدثنا أبو الطیب : محمد بن عبداللہ الشعیری حدثنا محمش بن عصامٍ حدثنا حفص بن عبداللہ حدثنی ابراہیم بن طھمان عن سفیان الثوری عن الأعمش أطنہ عن سعید بن عبداللہ أنہ قال: رأیت أنس بن مالکٍ أتی الخلاء فتوضأ، ومسح علی قلنسیۃ بیضاء مزرورۃ وعلی جوربین أسو دین مرعزین۔ ورفعہ بعض الضعفاء ولیس بشیءٍ۔ وروی فی المسح علی الجوربین عن أبی أمامۃ وسھل بن سعدٍ وعمر و بن حریثٍ۔ قال أبو داود: وروی ذلک عن عمر بن الخطاب وابن عباس۔ وکان الأستاذ أبو الولید رحمہ اللہ تعالی یأول حدیث المسح علی الجوربین والنعلین علی أنہ مسح علی جوربین منعلین لا أنہ جوربٌ علی الانفراد ونعلٌ علی الانفراد۔ أخبرنا بذلک عنہ أبو عبداللہ الحافظ۔ وقد وجدتٌ لأنس بن مالکٍ أثرًا یدل علی ذلک۔
