أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ مُوسَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الرَّازِيُّ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ وَطَلْحَةَ عَنْ ذَرٍّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَی عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ کَعْبٍ قَالَ کَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُوتِرُ بِسَبِّحْ اسْمَ رَبِّکَ الْأَعْلَی وَقُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْکَافِرُونَ وَقُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ خَالَفَهُمَا حُصَيْنٌ فَرَوَاهُ عَنْ ذَرٍّ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَی عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Saeed bin ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Abza narrated from his father, that Ubayy bin Ka’b said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم used to recite in Witr: ‘Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High;’ and: ‘Say: you disbelievers!;’ and: ‘Say: He is Allah, (the) 0ne.” (Sahih) Husain contradicted him; he reported it from Dharr, from Ibn ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Abza, from his father, from the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم.

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ قَزَعَةَ عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ ذَرٍّ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَی عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْوِتْرِ بِسَبِّحْ اسْمَ رَبِّکَ الْأَعْلَی وَقُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْکَافِرُونَ وَقُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Abza from his father that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم used to recite in Witr: “Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High;” and: “Say: you disbelievers! ; and: “Say: He is Allah, (the) 0ne.” (Da’if)

Bahz bin Asad, said: “Shu’bah narrated to us, from Salamah and Zubaid, from Dharr, from Ibn ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Abza from his father that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم used to recite in Witr: ‘Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High;’ and: ‘Say: you disbelievers!;’ and: ‘Say: He is Allah, (the) One.’ And when he said the Taslimhe would say: Subhanal-Malikil-QuddIis (Glory be to the Sovereign, the Most Holy) three times, raising his voice the third time.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي سَلَمَةُ وَزُبَيْدٌ عَنْ ذَرٍّ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَی عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْوِتْرِ بِسَبِّحْ اسْمَ رَبِّکَ الْأَعْلَی وَقُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْکَافِرُونَ وَقُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ إِذَا سَلَّمَ سُبْحَانَ الْمَلِکِ الْقُدُّوسِ وَيَرْفَعُ بِسُبْحَانَ الْمَلِکِ الْقُدُّوسِ صَوْتَهُ بِالثَّالِثَةِ رَوَاهُ مَنْصُورٌ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ کُهَيْلٍ وَلَمْ يَذْکُرْ ذَرًّا

Khalid said: “Shu’bah narrated to us, he said: Salamah and Zubaid informed me, from Dharr, from Ibn ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Abza, from ‘Abdur-Rahman, that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم used to recite in Witr: ‘Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High;’ and: ‘Say: you disbelievers!;’ and: ‘Say: He is Allah, (the) One.’ Then when he said the Taslimhe would say: Subhanal-Malikil-Quddas (Glory be to the Sovereign, the Most Holy) three times, raising his voice with: Subhanal-Maikil-Quddi the third time.” (Sahih) Man reported it from Salamah bin Kuhail, but he did not mention Dharr in it.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ کُهَيْلٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَی عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ کَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُوتِرُ بِسَبِّحْ اسْمَ رَبِّکَ الْأَعْلَی وَقُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْکَافِرُونَ وَقُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ وَکَانَ إِذَا سَلَّمَ وَفَرَغَ قَالَ سُبْحَانَ الْمَلِکِ الْقُدُّوسِ ثَلَاثًا طَوَّلَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ وَرَوَاهُ عَبْدُ الْمَلِکِ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ وَلَمْ يَذْکُرْ ذَرًّا

Man reported from Salamah bin Kuhail, from Saeed bin ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Abza, from his father, who said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم used to recite in Witr: Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High; and: Say: “you disbelievers!”; and: Say: “He is Allah, (the) One”. And when he had said the Taslim he would say: ‘Subi’zanal-Malikil Quddas (Glory be to the Sovereign, the Most Holy)’ three times, elongating the words the third time.” (Sahih) And ‘Abdul-Malik bin Abi Sulaiman reported it from Zubaid, and he did not mention Dharr in it

‘Abdul-Malik bin Abi Sulaiman reported from Zubaid, from Saeed bin ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Abza, from his father, who said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم used to recite in Witr: ‘Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High;’ and: ‘Say: you dishelievers!;’ and: ‘Say: He is Allah, (the) 0ne.” (Sahih) And Muhammad bin Juhadah reported it from Zubaid, and he did not mention Dharr in it.

Muhammad bin Juhadah reported from Zubaid, Saeed bin ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Abza, from his father, who said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم used to recite in Witr: ‘Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High;’ and: ‘Say: you disbelievers!;’ and: ‘Say: He is Allah, (the) One.’ And when he had finished praying, he said: Subi’zanal-Malikil-Quddas (Glory be to the Sovereign, the Most Holy) three times.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِکٌ عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ عَنْ ذَرٍّ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبْزَی مُرْسَلٌ وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ عَطَائُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَی عَنْ أَبِيهِ

Ahmad bin Sulaiman informed us, he said: “Yahya bin Adam narrated to us, he said: ‘Malik narrated to us from Zubaid, from Dharr, from Ibn Abza.” (Sahih) In Mursal form, ‘Ata’ bin As-Sa’ib reported it from Saeed bin ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Abza, from his father.

‘Ata’ bin As-Sa’ib reported from Saeed bin ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Abza, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم used to recite in Witr: ‘Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High;’ and: ‘Say: you disbelievers!;’ and: ‘Say: He is Allah, (the) One.” (Sahih)

Muhammad bin Bashshar informed us, he said: “Abu Dawud narrated to us from Shu’bah, from Qatadah, who said: I heard ‘Azarah narrating from Saeed bin ‘Abdur Rahman Ibn Abza, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم used to recite in Witr: ‘Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High;’ and: ‘Say: you disbelievers!;’ and: ‘Say: He is Allah, (the) One.’ And when he finished, he would say: ‘Subhanal-Malikil-Quddus (Glory be to the Sovereign, the Most Holy)’ three times.” (Sahih)

Ishaq bin Mansur informed us, he said: “Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu’bah narrated to us, from Qatadah, from ‘Abdur Rahman bin Abza, that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم used to recite in Witr: ‘Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High;’ and: ‘Say: you disbelievers!;’ and: ‘Say: He is Allah, (the) One.’ And when he finished he would say: ‘Sub (Glory be to the Sovereign, the Most Holy)’ three times, elongating the words the third time.” (Sahih)

سُبْحَانَ الْمَلِکِ الْقُدُّوسِ ثَلَاثًا وَيَمُدُّ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ ← عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى، ← زُرَارَةَ ← قَتَادَةَ ← شُعْبَةُ، ← أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ← إِسْحَقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ
