أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَکَمِ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ اللَّيْثِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ کَثِيرِ بْنِ فَرْقَدٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ نَهَی عَنْ النَّجْشِ وَالتَّلَقِّي وَأَنْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ

It was narrated from ‘Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم forbade atificially inflating prices, meeting traders on the way, and for a town-dweller to sell for a desert-dweller.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي أُسَامَةَ أَحَدَّثَکُمْ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ نَهَی رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ تَلَقِّي الْجَلْبِ حَتَّی يَدْخُلَ بِهَا السُّوقَ فَأَقَرَّ بِهِ أَبُو أُسَامَةَ وَقَالَ نَعَمْ

(B). It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم , forbade meeting traders on the way, until one enters the market with them?” Abu Usamah acknowledged it and said: Yes. (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ نَهَی رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُتَلَقَّی الرُّکْبَانُ وَأَنْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ مَا قَوْلُهُ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ قَالَ لَا يَکُونُ لَهُ سِمْسَارٌ

It was narrated from Ibn Tawus, from his father, that Ibn ‘Abbas said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم forbade meeting the riders, and for a town-dweller to sell for a desert-dweller.” I said to Ibn ‘Abbas: “What does a town-dweller (selling) for a desert-dweller mean?” He said: “He should not act as a broker for him.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ الْقُرْدُوسِيُّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ سِيرِينَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَلَقَّوْا الْجَلْبَ فَمَنْ تَلَقَّاهُ فَاشْتَرَی مِنْهُ فَإِذَا أَتَی سَيِّدُهُ السُّوقَ فَهُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ

not meet the traders on the way, and whoever meets any of them and buys from him, the vendor has the choice of annulling the transaction when he comes to the marketplace.” (Sahih)

حَدَّثَنَا مُجَاهِدُ بْنُ مُوسَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَبِيعَنَّ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ وَلَا تَنَاجَشُوا وَلَا يُسَاوِمْ الرَّجُلُ عَلَی سَوْمِ أَخِيهِ وَلَا يَخْطُبْ عَلَی خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ وَلَا تَسْأَلْ الْمَرْأَةُ طَلَاقَ أُخْتِهَا لِتَکْتَفِئَ مَا فِي إِنَائِهَا وَلِتُنْکَحَ فَإِنَّمَا لَهَا مَا کَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهَا

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “No town-dweller should sell for a desert-dweller, do not artificially inflate prices, no man should urge a seller to cancel a sale already agreed upon with another buyer so as to buy the goods himself, no one should make a proposal over the proposal of his brother and no woman should ask for her sister (in faith) to be divorced so as to turn over what is in her vessel (deprive her of her share of maintenance) and so that she may get married in her place; she will have what Allah has decreed for her.” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مَالِکٍ وَاللَّيْثُ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا يَبِيعُ أَحَدُکُمْ عَلَی بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “No one of you should urge someone to cancel a sale he has already agreed upon with his brother so as to sell him his own goods.” (Sahih)

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “Do not urge someone to cancel a sale he has already agreed upon so as to sell him your own goods, unless he buys or changes his mind.” (Sahih)

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم say: ‘No man should urge anyone to cancel a sale he has already agreed upon with his brother so as to sell him his own goods; no town-dweller should sell for a desert-dweller; do not artificially inflate prices; no man should outbid his brother; and no woman should ask for her sister (in faith) to be divorced so as to turn over what is in her vessel (deprive her of her share of maintenance).” (Sahih)

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ وَعِيسَی بْنُ يُونُسَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا الْأَخْضَرُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ أَبِي بَکْرٍ الْحَنَفِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَاعَ قَدَحًا وَحِلْسًا فِيمَنْ يَزِيدُ

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم sold a drinking bowl and a blanket (for a horse or camel) to the highest bidder. (Hasan)
