62 - أخبرنا أبو عبد الله الحافظ أنبأ أبو بكر بن إسحاق أنبأ يوسف بن يعقوب أنبأ سليمان بن حرب ثنا أبو هلال ثنا بكر بن عبد الله المزني قال : قال عيسى عليه الصلاة و السلام لبعض الحواريين : أرني يدك يا قصير الإيمان و هذا حين مشى على الماء فتبعه واحد فذهب يضع رجله فإذا هو قد انغمر فقال له عيسى عليه الصلاة و السلام : هات يدك يا قصير الإيمان :

64 - أخبرنا أبو عبد الله البيهقي أنبأ أبو حامد أحمد بن محمد بن الحسين البيهقي حدثنا داود بن الحسين البيهقي حدثنا حميد بن زنجويه ثنا يعقوب بن إسحاق بن أبي عباد ثنا نافع بن عمر قال : قيل لابن أبي مليكة إنه يجالسك رجل يزعم أن إيمانه مثل إيمان جبريل عليه السلام قال : و الله لقد فضل جبريل في الثناء فقال : { إنه لقول رسول كريم * ذي قوة عند ذي العرش مكين * مطاع ثم أمين * وما صاحبكم بمجنون } و تزعمون أن إيمان مهران ـ رجل كان يضرب في الخمر كل ساعة ـ مثل إيمان جبريل عليه السلام

65 - أخبرنا أبو عبد الله الحافظ ثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب الأصم ثنا أبو عتبة ثنا بقية أنبأ عبد الملك بن أبي النعمان ـ شيخ من أهل الجزيرة ـ عن ميمون بن مهران قال : خاصمه رجل في الإرجاء قال : فبينما هما على ذلك إذ سمعا امرأة تغني فقال ميمون : أين إيمان هذه من إيمان مريم بنت عمران ؟ قال : فلما قالها له انصرف الرجل و لم يزد عليه شيئا

66 - أخبرنا أبو عبد الله البيهقي أنبأ أحمد بن محمد بن الحسين ثنا داود بن الحسين ثنا حميد بن زنجويه ثنا عبيد الله بن موسى أنبأ أبو البشر الحلبي عن الحسن قال : ليس الإيمان بالتحلي و لا بالتمني و لكن ما وقر في القلب و صدقته الأعمال و من قال حسنا و عمل غير صالح رده الله على قوله و من قال حسنا و عمل صالحا رفعه العمل ذلك بأن الله تعالى قال : { إليه يصعد الكلم الطيب و العمل الصالح يرفعه } قال الإمام الحافظ أبو بكر البيهقي رحمه الله : و قد روينا أيضا قولنا في الإيمان عن محمد بن الحنفية و عطاء بن أبي رباح و الحسن و ابن سيرين و عبيد بن عمير و وهب بن منبه و حبيب بن أبي ثابت و غيرهم من أئمة المسلمين : الأوزاعي و مالك و سفيان بن عيينة و الفضيل بن عياض و الشافعي و أحمد بن حنبل و إسحاق بن إبراهيم الحنظلي و محمد بن إسماعيل البخاري و غيرهم رحمهم الله

67 - أخبرنا أبو سعيد بن أبي عمرو أنبأ أبو العباس الأصم أنبأ الربيع قال : قال الشافعي رحمه الله تعالى : في مسأله ذكرها في كتاب السير : الصلاة من الإيمان و قال : في التسمية على الذبيحة و الصلاة على النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم : و لا أكره مع تسميته على الذبيحة أن يقول : صلى الله على رسوله بل أحبه له لأن ذكر الله و الصلاة على رسول الله إيمان بالله و عبادة له يؤجر عليها إن شاء الله تعالى من قالها وروينا عن يوسف بن عبد الأحد عن الربيع بن سليمان قال سمعت الشافعي يقول : الإيمان قول و عمل يزيد و ينقص

69 - أخبرنا أبو الحسين بن بشران أنبأ أبو علي الحسين بن صفوان أنبأ عبد الله بن محمد بن أبي الدنيا ثنا إبراهيم بن سعيد ثنا عبد الصمد بن النعمان ثنا هارون البربري عن عبد الله بن عبيد بن عمير قال : الإيمان قائد و العمل سائق و النفس حرون فإذا ونى قائدها لم تستقم لسائقها و إذا ونى سائقها لم تستقم لقائدها و لا يصلح هذا إلا مع هذا حتى تقدم على الخير الإيمان بالله مع العمل لله و العمل لله مع الإيمان بالله تابعه قبيصة بن عقبة عن هارون
