10935 - حدثنا أبو القاسم السراج أنا الحسين بن أحمد الصفار الهروي نا أحمد بن حمدون بن عمارة نا الحسن بن عرفة نا عبد الله بن بكر عن أبي بكر العدلي قال : كان مطرف بن عبد الله يقول لإخوانه و ودائه إذا كانت لكم حاجة فاكتبوها في رقعة لأقضيها لكم فإن أكره ذاك السؤال في وجوهكم لقول الشاعر : ( لا تحسبن الموت موت البلى لكنما الموت سؤال الرجال ) ( كلاهما موت و لكن ذا أشد و من ذاك لذل السؤال )

10942 - أخبرنا أبو عبد الله الحافظ أنا الحسن بن محمد بن إسحاق قال : سمعت أبا عثمان سعيد بن عثمان الحناط يقول : سمعت ذا النون يقول : العاقل يعترف بذنبه و يحسن ذنب غيره و يجود بما لديه و يزهد فيما عند غيره و يكف أذاه و يحتمل الأذى عن غيره و الكريم يعطي قبل السؤال فكيف يبخل بعد السؤال و يعذر قبل الاعتذار فكيف يحقد بعد الاعتذار

10944 - أخبرنا أبو الحسن علي بن عبد الرحمن بن إبراهيم الهاشمي نا أبو جعفر محمد بن عمرو نا القاسم بن منبه قال : قال أبو نصر بشر بن الحارث : بعث أبو رجاء الذي كان بمكة إلى فضيل يستقرض دراهم أو يسأله دنانير ثم قال أبو نصر : بعث مسكين إلى مسكين قال : و لم يكن عند فضيل إلا بعير له يعمل عليه قال : فأمر ابنه أن يدخله السوق فيبيعه ثم يبعث إلى رجاء بنصف ثمنه و يأتيه بالنصف الآخر ثم ذكر أبو نصر كرم أهل الخير و فضلهم
