حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَيَّاشُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ عَنْ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ حَسَنٍ الضَّمْرِيِّ أَنَّ ابْنَ أُمِّ الْحَکَمِ أَوْ ضُبَاعَةَ ابْنَتَيْ الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ إِحْدَاهُمَا أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ أَصَابَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ سَبْيًا فَذَهَبْتُ أَنَا وَأُخْتِي فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَی النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَشَکَوْنَا إِلَيْهِ مَا نَحْنُ فِيهِ وَسَأَلْنَاهُ أَنْ يَأْمُرَ لَنَا بِشَيْئٍ مِنْ السَّبْيِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَبَقَکُنَّ يَتَامَی بَدْرٍ ثُمَّ ذَکَرَ قِصَّةَ التَّسْبِيحِ قَالَ عَلَی أَثَرِ کُلِّ صَلَاةٍ لَمْ يَذْکُرْ النَّوْمَ

Umm al-Hakam or Dubaah, daughter of al-Zubair, said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ got some prisoners of war (slaves). I my sister and Fatimah, daughter of the prophet ﷺ, went to the prophet ﷺ. We complained to him about our condition, and asked him to command for giving us some prisoners (slaves). The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said; The orphans of Badr came before you (and took the slaves). The transmitter then mentioned the story of glorifying Allah after every prayer. He did not mention sleeping.

عَلَی أَثَرِ کُلِّ صَلَاةٍ لَمْ يَذْکُرْ النَّوْمَ ← قِصَّةَ التَّسْبِيحِ ← سَأَلْنَاهُ أَنْ يَأْمُرَ لَنَا بِشَيْئٍ مِنْ السَّبْيِ ← وَأُخْتِي فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ النَّبِيِّ إِلَی النَّبِيِّ فَشَکَوْنَا إِلَيْهِ مَا نَحْنُ فِيهِ ← أَصَابَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ سَبْيًا فَذَهَبْتُ ← إِحْدَاهُمَا أَنَّهَا ← الْفَضْلِ بْنِ حَسَنٍ الضَّمْرِيِّ أَنَّ ابْنَ أُمِّ الْحَکَمِ أَوْ ضُبَاعَةَ ابْنَتَيْ الزُّبَيْرِ ← عياش بن عقبة الحضرمي ← عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ← أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ،

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ يَعْلَی بْنِ عَطَائٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا بَکْرٍ الصِّدِّيقَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مُرْنِي بِکَلِمَاتٍ أَقُولُهُنَّ إِذَا أَصْبَحْتُ وَإِذَا أَمْسَيْتُ قَالَ قُلْ اللَّهُمَّ فَاطِرَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ رَبَّ کُلِّ شَيْئٍ وَمَلِيکَهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَعُوذُ بِکَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي وَشَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشِرْکِهِ قَالَ قُلْهَا إِذَا أَصْبَحْتَ وَإِذَا أَمْسَيْتَ وَإِذَا أَخَذْتَ مَضْجَعَکَ

Narrated Abu Hurairah: Abu Bakr as-Siddiq said: Messenger of Allah! command me something to say in the morning and in the evening. He said: Say "O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Who knowest the unseen and the seen, Lord and Possessor of everything. I testify that there is no god but Thee; I seek refuge in Thee from the evil within myself, from the evil of the devil, and his (incitement to) attributing partners (to Allah). " He said: Say this in the morning.

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَی بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ کَانَ يَقُولُ إِذَا أَصْبَحَ اللَّهُمَّ بِکَ أَصْبَحْنَا وَبِکَ أَمْسَيْنَا وَبِکَ نَحْيَا وَبِکَ نَمُوتُ وَإِلَيْکَ النُّشُورُ وَإِذَا أَمْسَی قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ بِکَ أَمْسَيْنَا وَبِکَ نَحْيَا وَبِکَ نَمُوتُ وَإِلَيْکَ النُّشُورُ

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet ﷺ used to say in the morning: "O Allah, by Thee we come to the morning, by Thee we come to the evening, by Thee are we resurrected. " In the evening he would say: "O Allah, by Thee we come to the evening, by Thee we die, and to Thee are we resurrected. "

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْکٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ الْغَازِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ مَکْحُولٍ الدِّمَشْقِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ أَوْ يُمْسِي اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَصْبَحْتُ أُشْهِدُکَ وَأُشْهِدُ حَمَلَةَ عَرْشِکَ وَمَلَائِکَتَکَ وَجَمِيعَ خَلْقِکَ أَنَّکَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُکَ وَرَسُولُکَ أَعْتَقَ اللَّهُ رُبُعَهُ مِنْ النَّارِ فَمَنْ قَالَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ أَعْتَقَ اللَّهُ نِصْفَهُ وَمَنْ قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا أَعْتَقَ اللَّهُ ثَلَاثَةَ أَرْبَاعِهِ فَإِنْ قَالَهَا أَرْبَعًا أَعْتَقَهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ النَّارِ

Narrated Anas ibn Malik: The Prophet ﷺ said: If anyone says in the morning or in the evening: "O Allah! in the morning we call Thee, the bearers of Thy Throne, Thy angels and all Thy creatures to witness that thou art Allah (God) than Whom alone there is no god, and that Muhammad is Thy Servant and Messenger, " Allah will emancipate his fourth from Hell; if anyone says twice, Allah will emancipate his half; if anyone says it thrice, Allah will emancipate three-fourth; and if he says four times, Allah will emancipate him from Hell.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ ثَعْلَبَةَ الطَّائِيُّ عَنْ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ أَوْ حِينَ يُمْسِي اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُکَ وَأَنَا عَلَی عَهْدِکَ وَوَعْدِکَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِکَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ أَبُوئُ بِنِعْمَتِکَ وَأَبُوئُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي إِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ فَمَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ أَوْ مِنْ لَيْلَتِهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ

Narrated Buraydah ibn al-Hasib: The Prophet ﷺ said: If anyone says in the morning or in the evening: "O Allah! Thou art my Lord; there is no god but Thee, Thou hast created me, and I am Thy servant and hold to Thy covenant and promise as much as I can; I seek refuge in Thee from the evil of what I have done: I acknowledge Thy favour to me, and I acknowledge my sin; pardon me, for none but Thee pardons sins, and dies during the daytime or during the night. " he will go to Paradise.

حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ عَنْ خَالِدٍ ح و حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يَقُولُ إِذَا أَمْسَی أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَی الْمُلْکُ لِلَّهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيکَ لَهُ زَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ وَأَمَّا زُبَيْدٌ کَانَ يَقُولُ کَانَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ يَقُولُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيکَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْکُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَی کُلِّ شَيْئٍ قَدِيرٌ رَبِّ أَسْأَلُکَ خَيْرَ مَا فِي هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ وَخَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَهَا وَأَعُوذُ بِکَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِي هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهَا رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِکَ مِنْ الْکَسَلِ وَمِنْ سُوئِ الْکِبَرِ أَوْ الْکُفْرِ رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِکَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ فِي النَّارِ وَعَذَابٍ فِي الْقَبْرِ وَإِذَا أَصْبَحَ قَالَ ذَلِکَ أَيْضًا أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْکُ لِلَّهِ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد رَوَاهُ شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ کُهَيْلٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ قَالَ مِنْ سُوئِ الْکِبَرِ وَلَمْ يَذْکُرْ سُوئَ الْکُفْرِ

Abdullah (bin Masud) told that when the evening came, the prophet ﷺ would say: we have come to the evening, and in the evening the dominion belongs to Allah: “Praise be to Allah; there is no god but Allah alone who has no partner”. The version of Jarir adds: Zubaid said that Ibrahim bin Suwaid said: There is no god but Allah alone who has no partner; to him belongs the dominion, to him praise is due, and He is omnipotent. O Allah! I ask thee for the good of what this night contains, and the good of what comes after it; and I seek refuge in Thee from the evil of what this night contains, and from the evil of what comes after it. My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from indolence, the evil of old age or of disbelief. My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from a punishment in Hell and a punishment in the grave. In the morning he said that also: we have come to the morning, and in the morning the dominion belongs to Allah. Abu Dawud said: Shubah transmitted from Salamah bin Kuhail, from Ibrahim bin Suwaid, saying: from the evil of old age. He did not mention the evil of disbelief.

حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي عَقِيلٍ عَنْ سَابِقِ بْنِ نَاجِيَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ أَنَّهُ کَانَ فِي مَسْجِدِ حِمْصَ فَمَرَّ بِهِ رَجُلٌ فَقَالُوا هَذَا خَدَمَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ حَدِّثْنِي بِحَدِيثٍ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَتَدَاوَلْهُ بَيْنَکَ وَبَيْنَهُ الرِّجَالُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَالَ إِذَا أَصْبَحَ وَإِذَا أَمْسَی رَضِينَا بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولًا إِلَّا کَانَ حَقًّا عَلَی اللَّهِ أَنْ يُرْضِيَهُ

Narrated A man: Abu Sallam told that he was in the mosque of Hims. A man passed him and the people said about him that he served the Prophet ﷺ. He (Abu Sallam) went to him and said: Tell me any tradition which you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and there were no man between him and you. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: If anyone says in the morning and in the evening: "I am pleased with Allah as Lord, with Islam as religion, with Muhammad as Prophet, " Allah will certainly please him.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ حَسَّانَ وَإِسْمَعِيلُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَنْبَسَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ غَنَّامٍ الْبَيَاضِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ اللَّهُمَّ مَا أَصْبَحَ بِي مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ فَمِنْکَ وَحْدَکَ لَا شَرِيکَ لَکَ فَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ وَلَکَ الشُّکْرُ فَقَدْ أَدَّی شُکْرَ يَوْمِهِ وَمَنْ قَالَ مِثْلَ ذَلِکَ حِينَ يُمْسِي فَقَدْ أَدَّی شُکْرَ لَيْلَتِهِ

Narrated Abdullah ibn Ghannam: The Prophet ﷺ said: If anyone says in the morning: "O Allah! whatever favour has come to me, it comes from Thee alone Who has no partner; to Thee praise is due and thanksgiving, '! he will have expressed full thanksgiving for the day; and if anyone says the same in the evening, he will have expressed full thanksgiving for the night.

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ مُوسَی الْبَلْخِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ ح و حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ الْمَعْنَی حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عُبَادَةُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الْفَزَارِيُّ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ لَمْ يَکُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَعُ هَؤُلَائِ الدَّعَوَاتِ حِينَ يُمْسِي وَحِينَ يُصْبِحُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُکَ الْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُکَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِينِي وَدُنْيَايَ وَأَهْلِي وَمَالِي اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَتِي وَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ عَوْرَاتِي وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِي اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ وَمِنْ خَلْفِي وَعَنْ يَمِينِي وَعَنْ شِمَالِي وَمِنْ فَوْقِي وَأَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِکَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِي قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد قَالَ وَکِيعٌ يَعْنِي الْخَسْفَ

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never failed to utter these supplications in the evening and in the morning: O Allah, I ask Thee for security in this world and in the Hereafter: O Allah! I ask Thee for forgiveness and security in my religion and my worldly affairs, in my family and my property; O Allah! conceal my fault or faults (according to Uthman's version), and keep me safe from the things which I fear; O Allah! guard me in front of me and behind me, on my right hand and on my left, and from above me: and I seek in Thy greatness from receiving unexpected harm from below me. " Abu Dawud said: Waki said: That is to say, swallowing by the earth.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو أَنَّ سَالِمًا الْفَرَّائَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الْحَمِيدِ مَوْلَی بَنِي هَاشِمٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أُمَّهُ حَدَّثَتْهُ وَکَانَتْ تَخْدِمُ بَعْضَ بَنَاتِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ ابْنَةَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدَّثَتْهَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يُعَلِّمُهَا فَيَقُولُ قُولِي حِينَ تُصْبِحِينَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ مَا شَائَ اللَّهُ کَانَ وَمَا لَمْ يَشَأْ لَمْ يَکُنْ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ قَالَهُنَّ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ حُفِظَ حَتَّی يُمْسِيَ وَمَنْ قَالَهُنَّ حِينَ يُمْسِي حُفِظَ حَتَّی يُصْبِحَ

Narrated Daughter of the Prophet: AbdulHamid, a client of Banu Hashim, said that his mother who served some of the daughters of the Prophet ﷺ told him that one of the daughters of the Prophet ﷺ said that the Prophet ﷺ used to teach her saying: Say in the morning: Glory be to Allah, and I begin with praise of Him; there is no power but in Allah ; what Allah wills comes to pass and what He does not will does not come to pass; I know that Allah is Omnipotent and that Allah has comprehended everything in knowledge" ; for whoever says it in the morning will be guarded till the evening, and whoever says it in the evening will be guarded till the morning.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ح و حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي اللَّيْثُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ النَّجَّارِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْبَيْلَمَانِيِّ قَالَ الرَّبِيعُ ابْنُ الْبَيْلَمَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ فَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصْبِحُونَ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَعَشِيًّا وَحِينَ تُظْهِرُونَ إِلَی وَکَذَلِکَ تُخْرَجُونَ أَدْرَکَ مَا فَاتَهُ فِي يَوْمِهِ ذَلِکَ وَمَنْ قَالَهُنَّ حِينَ يُمْسِي أَدْرَکَ مَا فَاتَهُ فِي لَيْلَتِهِ قَالَ الرَّبِيعُ عَنْ اللَّيْثِ

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: The Prophet ﷺ said: If anyone repeats in the morning: "So glory be to Allah in the evening and in the morning; to Him is the praise in the heavens and the earth, and in the late evening and at noon. . . . thus shall you be brought forth, " he will get that day what he has missed; and if anyone repeats these words in the evening he will get that night what he has missed. Ar-Rabi transmitted it from al-Layth.

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَی بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ وَوُهَيْبٌ نَحْوَهُ عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي عَائِشٍ وَقَالَ حَمَّادٌ عَنْ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ قَالَ إِذَا أَصْبَحَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيکَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْکُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَی کُلِّ شَيْئٍ قَدِيرٌ کَانَ لَهُ عِدْلَ رَقَبَةٍ مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَعِيلَ وَکُتِبَ لَهُ عَشْرُ حَسَنَاتٍ وَحُطَّ عَنْهُ عَشْرُ سَيِّئَاتٍ وَرُفِعَ لَهُ عَشْرُ دَرَجَاتٍ وَکَانَ فِي حِرْزٍ مِنْ الشَّيْطَانِ حَتَّی يُمْسِيَ وَإِنْ قَالَهَا إِذَا أَمْسَی کَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ ذَلِکَ حَتَّی يُصْبِحَ قَالَ فِي حَدِيثِ حَمَّادٍ فَرَأَی رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيمَا يَرَی النَّائِمُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَبَا عَيَّاشٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْکَ بِکَذَا وَکَذَا قَالَ صَدَقَ أَبُو عَيَّاشٍ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد رَوَاهُ إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَمُوسَی الزَّمْعِيُّ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ ابْنِ عَائِشٍ

Narrated Abu Ayyash: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: If anyone says in the morning: "There is no god but Allah alone Who has no partner; to Him belong the dominions, to Him praise is due, and He is Omnipotent, " he will have a reward equivalent to that for setting free a slave from among the descendants of Ismail. He will have ten good deeds recorded for him, ten evil deeds deducted from him, he will be advanced ten degrees, and will be guarded from the Devil till the evening. If he says them in the evening, he will have a similar recompense till the morning. The version of Hammad says: A man saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a dream and said: Messenger of Allah! Abu Ayyash is relating such and such on your authority. He said: Abu Ayyash has spoken the truth. Abu Dawud said: Ismail bin Jafar, Musa al-Zim'i and Adb Allah bin Jafar transmitted it from Suhail, from his father on the authority of Ibn 'A'ish.
