حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ عِکْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ احْتَجَمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي رَأْسِهِ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ مِنْ وَجَعٍ کَانَ بِهِ بِمَائٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ لُحْيُ جَمَلٍ وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَوَائٍ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ عِکْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فِي رَأْسِهِ مِنْ شَقِيقَةٍ کَانَتْ بِهِ

Ibn `Abbas further said: Allah s Apostle was cupped on his head for unilateral headache while he was in a state of Ihram .

وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَوَاءٍ :‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ :‏‏‏‏ "أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فِي رَأْسِهِ مِنْ شَقِيقَةٍ كَانَتْ بِهِ".

Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah: I heard the Prophet saying, "If there is any good in your medicines, then it is in a gulp of honey, a cupping operation, or branding (cauterization), but I do not like to be (cauterized) branded.

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبَانَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْغَسِيلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَاصِمُ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنْ کَانَ فِي شَيْئٍ مِنْ أَدْوِيَتِکُمْ خَيْرٌ فَفِي شَرْبَةِ عَسَلٍ أَوْ شَرْطَةِ مِحْجَمٍ أَوْ لَذْعَةٍ مِنْ نَارٍ وَمَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَکْتَوِيَ

Narrated Ka`b bin Ujrah: The Prophet came to me during the period of Al-Hudaibiya, while I was lighting fire underneath a cooking pot and lice were falling down my head. He said, "Do your lice hurt your?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Shave your head and fast for three days or feed six poor persons or slaughter a sheep as a sacrifice:"

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُجَاهِدًا عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَی عَنْ کَعْبٍ هُوَ ابْنُ عُجْرَةَ قَالَ أَتَی عَلَيَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَمَنَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ وَأَنَا أُوقِدُ تَحْتَ بُرْمَةٍ وَالْقَمْلُ يَتَنَاثَرُ عَنْ رَأْسِي فَقَالَ أَيُؤْذِيکَ هَوَامُّکَ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَاحْلِقْ وَصُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ أَوْ أَطْعِمْ سِتَّةً أَوْ انْسُکْ نَسِيکَةً قَالَ أَيُّوبُ لَا أَدْرِي بِأَيَّتِهِنَّ بَدَأَ

Narrated Jabir: The Prophet said, "If there is any healing in your medicines then it is a cupping operation, or branding (cauterization), but I do not like to be (cauterized) branded."

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِکِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ الْغَسِيلِ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنْ کَانَ فِي شَيْئٍ مِنْ أَدْوِيَتِکُمْ شِفَائٌ فَفِي شَرْطَةِ مِحْجَمٍ أَوْ لَذْعَةٍ بِنَارٍ وَمَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَکْتَوِيَ

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: Allah's Apostle said, 'Nations were displayed before me; one or two prophets would pass by along with a few followers. A prophet would pass by accompanied by nobody. Then a big crowd of people passed in front of me and I asked, Who are they Are they my followers?" It was said, 'No. It is Moses and his followers It was said to me, 'Look at the horizon.'' Behold! There was a multitude of people filling the horizon. Then it was said to me, 'Look there and there about the stretching sky! Behold! There was a multitude filling the horizon,' It was said to me, 'This is your nation out of whom seventy thousand shall enter Paradise without reckoning.' "Then the Prophet entered his house without telling his companions who they (the 70,000) were. So the people started talking about the issue and said, "It is we who have believed in Allah and followed His Apostle; therefore those people are either ourselves or our children who are born m the Islamic era, for we were born in the Pre-lslamic Period of Ignorance.'' When the Prophet heard of that, he came out and said. "Those people are those who do not treat themselves with Ruqya, nor do they believe in bad or good omen (from birds etc.) nor do they get themselves branded (Cauterized). but they put their trust (only) in their Lord " On that 'Ukasha bin Muhsin said. "Am I one of them, O Allah's Apostle?' The Prophet said, "Yes." Then another person got up and said, "Am I one of them?" The Prophet said, 'Ukasha has anticipated you."

حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنٌ عَنْ عَامِرٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ لَا رُقْيَةَ إِلَّا مِنْ عَيْنٍ أَوْ حُمَةٍ فَذَکَرْتُهُ لِسَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فَقَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عُرِضَتْ عَلَيَّ الْأُمَمُ فَجَعَلَ النَّبِيُّ وَالنَّبِيَّانِ يَمُرُّونَ مَعَهُمْ الرَّهْطُ وَالنَّبِيُّ لَيْسَ مَعَهُ أَحَدٌ حَتَّی رُفِعَ لِي سَوَادٌ عَظِيمٌ قُلْتُ مَا هَذَا أُمَّتِي هَذِهِ قِيلَ بَلْ هَذَا مُوسَی وَقَوْمُهُ قِيلَ انْظُرْ إِلَی الْأُفُقِ فَإِذَا سَوَادٌ يَمْلَأُ الْأُفُقَ ثُمَّ قِيلَ لِي انْظُرْ هَا هُنَا وَهَا هُنَا فِي آفَاقِ السَّمَائِ فَإِذَا سَوَادٌ قَدْ مَلَأَ الْأُفُقَ قِيلَ هَذِهِ أُمَّتُکَ وَيَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ هَؤُلَائِ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ وَلَمْ يُبَيِّنْ لَهُمْ فَأَفَاضَ الْقَوْمُ وَقَالُوا نَحْنُ الَّذِينَ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَاتَّبَعْنَا رَسُولَهُ فَنَحْنُ هُمْ أَوْ أَوْلَادُنَا الَّذِينَ وُلِدُوا فِي الْإِسْلَامِ فَإِنَّا وُلِدْنَا فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَبَلَغَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَخَرَجَ فَقَالَ هُمْ الَّذِينَ لَا يَسْتَرْقُونَ وَلَا يَتَطَيَّرُونَ وَلَا يَکْتَوُونَ وَعَلَی رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَکَّلُونَ فَقَالَ عُکَاشَةُ بْنُ مِحْصَنٍ أَمِنْهُمْ أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ نَعَمْ فَقَامَ آخَرُ فَقَالَ أَمِنْهُمْ أَنَا قَالَ سَبَقَکَ بِهَا عُکَّاشَةُ

Narrated Um Salama: The husband of a lady died and her eyes became sore and the people mentioned her story to the Prophet They asked him whether it was permissible for her to use kohl as her eyes were exposed to danger. He said, "Previously, when one of you was bereaved by a husband she would stay in her dirty clothes in a bad unhealthy house (for one year), and when a dog passed by, she would throw a globe of dung. No, (she should observe the prescribed period Idda) for four months and ten days.'

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی عَنْ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حُمَيْدُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّ امْرَأَةً تُوُفِّيَ زَوْجُهَا فَاشْتَکَتْ عَيْنَهَا فَذَکَرُوهَا لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَذَکَرُوا لَهُ الْکُحْلَ وَأَنَّهُ يُخَافُ عَلَی عَيْنِهَا فَقَالَ لَقَدْ کَانَتْ إِحْدَاکُنَّ تَمْکُثُ فِي بَيْتِهَا فِي شَرِّ أَحْلَاسِهَا أَوْ فِي أَحْلَاسِهَا فِي شَرِّ بَيْتِهَا فَإِذَا مَرَّ کَلْبٌ رَمَتْ بَعْرَةً فَهَلَّا أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, '(There is) no 'Adwa (no contagious disease is conveyed without Allah's permission). nor is there any bad omen (from birds), nor is there any Hamah, nor is there any bad omen in the month of Safar, and one should run away from the leper as one runs away from a lion.''

Narrated Sa`id bin Zaid: I heard the Prophet saying, "Truffles are like Manna (i.e. they grow naturally without man's care) and their water heals eye diseases."

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّی حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِکِ سَمِعْتُ عَمْرُو بْنَ حُرَيْثٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الْکَمْأَةُ مِنْ الْمَنِّ وَمَاؤُهَا شِفَائٌ لِلْعَيْنِ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَأَخْبَرَنِي الْحَکَمُ بْنُ عُتَيْبَةَ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ الْعُرَنِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ لَمَّا حَدَّثَنِي بِهِ الْحَکَمُ لَمْ أُنْکِرْهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِکِ

Narrated Ibn `Abbas and `Aisha: Abu Bakr kissed (the forehead of) the Prophet when he was dead.

حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِکٍ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ بَيْنَا أَنَا رَدِيفُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْسَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ إِلَّا أَخِرَةُ الرَّحْلِ فَقَالَ يَا مُعَاذُ بْنَ جَبَلٍ قُلْتُ لَبَّيْکَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَسَعْدَيْکَ ثُمَّ سَارَ سَاعَةً ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا مُعَاذُ قُلْتُ لَبَّيْکَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَسَعْدَيْکَ ثُمَّ سَارَ سَاعَةً ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا مُعَاذُ قُلْتُ لَبَّيْکَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَسَعْدَيْکَ قَالَ هَلْ تَدْرِي مَا حَقُّ اللَّهِ عَلَی عِبَادِهِ قُلْتُ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ حَقُّ اللَّهِ عَلَی عِبَادِهِ أَنْ يَعْبُدُوهُ وَلَا يُشْرِکُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا ثُمَّ سَارَ سَاعَةً ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا مُعَاذُ بْنَ جَبَلٍ قُلْتُ لَبَّيْکَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَسَعْدَيْکَ فَقَالَ هَلْ تَدْرِي مَا حَقُّ الْعِبَادِ عَلَی اللَّهِ إِذَا فَعَلُوهُ قُلْتُ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ حَقُّ الْعِبَادِ عَلَی اللَّهِ أَنْ لَا يُعَذِّبَهُمْ

Narrated Anas bin Malik: We were coming from Khaibar along with Allah's Apostle while l was riding behind Abu Talha and he was proceeding. While one of the wives of Allah's Apostle was riding behind Allah's Apostle, suddenly the foot of the camel Slipped and I said, "The woman!" and alighted (hurriedly). Allah's Apostle said, "She is your mother." Sol resaddled the she-camel and Allah's Apostle mounted it. When he approached or saw Medina, he said, "Ayibun, ta'ibun, 'abidun, li-Rabbina hami-dun."

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَبَّاحٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ عَبَّادٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَی بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِکٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ أَقْبَلْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ خَيْبَرَ وَإِنِّي لَرَدِيفُ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ وَهُوَ يَسِيرُ وَبَعْضُ نِسَائِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَدِيفُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذْ عَثَرَتْ النَّاقَةُ فَقُلْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ فَنَزَلْتُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّهَا أُمُّکُمْ فَشَدَدْتُ الرَّحْلَ وَرَکِبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا دَنَا أَوْ رَأَی الْمَدِينَةَ قَالَ آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ عَابِدُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ

Narrated `Abbad bin Tamim's uncle: I saw the Prophet lying-down in the mosque and placing one leg on the other.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَنَّهُ أَبْصَرَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَضْطَجِعُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ رَافِعًا إِحْدَی رِجْلَيْهِ عَلَی الْأُخْرَی

Narrated Al-Walid bin 'Aizar: I heard Abi `Amr 'Ash-Shaibani saying, "The owner of this house." he pointed to `Abdullah's house, "said, 'I asked the Prophet 'Which deed is loved most by Allah?" He replied, 'To offer prayers at their early (very first) stated times.' " `Abdullah asked, "What is the next (in goodness)?" The Prophet said, "To be good and dutiful to one's parents," `Abdullah asked, "What is the next (in goodness)?" The Prophet said, To participate in Jihad for Allah's Cause." `Abdullah added, "The Prophet narrated to me these three things, and if I had asked more, he would have told me more."

عَمِّهِ أَنَّهُ أَبْصَرَ النَّبِيَّ يَضْطَجِعُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ رَافِعًا إِحْدَی رِجْلَيْهِ عَلَی الْأُخْرَی ← عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ ← ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، ← إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ← أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ،
