حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ قَتَادَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا حَسَّانَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الظُّهْرَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ ثُمَّ أُتِيَ بِبَدَنَتِهِ فَأَشْعَرَ صَفْحَةَ سَنَامِهَا الْأَيْمَنِ ثُمَّ سَلَتَ الدَّمَ عَنْهَا ثُمَّ قَلَّدَهَا نَعْلَيْنِ ثُمَّ أُتِيَ بِرَاحِلَتِهِ فَلَمَّا قَعَدَ عَلَيْهَا وَاسْتَوَتْ بِهِ عَلَى الْبَيْدَاءِ أَهَلَّ بِالْحَجِّ

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas (RA) said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) prayed Zulu in Dhul-Hulaifah, then his sacrificial animal was brought to hitn and he cut the right side of its hump, then he wiped the blood from it, then he garlanded it with two sandals. Then his mount was brought to him and when he sat on it and it rose up with him at al- Baida', he entered ihram for Hajj.

حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي قَتَادَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعَائِدُ فِي هِبَتِهِ كَالْعَائِدِ فِي قَيْئِهِ

Sa'eed bin al-Musayyab narrated that he heard Ibn 'Abbas say: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH)said: "The one who takes back his gift is like the one who takes back his vomit,"

حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ أُهْدِيَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَجُزُ حِمَارٍ أَوْ قَالَ رِجْلُ حِمَارٍ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَرَدَّهُ

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (RA) said: The back of an onager - or the leg of an onager - was given to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) when he was in ihram, and he refused it.

حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا حَزَبَهُ أَمْرٌ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَرَبُّ الْأَرْضِ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَرَبُّ الْأَرْضِ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (JRA) that when something upset him, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) would say: "There is no God but Allah, the Almighty, the Forbearing; there is no God but Allah, Lord of the heavens. Lord of the Earth and Lord of the mighty Throne; there is no God but Allah, Lord of the noble Throne; there is no god but Allah, Lord of the heavens. Lord of the earth and Lord of the noble Throne."

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (RA) said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "Do not take any animate being as a target."

حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَدِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي فِطْرٍ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ قَبْلَهَا وَلَا بَعْدَهَا ثُمَّ أَتَى النِّسَاءَ وَمَعَهُ بِلَالٌ فَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ تَصَدَّقْنَ فَجَعَلَتْ الْمَرْأَةُ تُلْقِي خُرْصَهَا وَسِخَابَهَا

. It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (RA) said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) went out on [the day of Eid al] Fitr and he did not offer any prayer before or after it, then he went to the women, accompanied by Bilal, and started saying, "Give in charity." And the women started throwing earrings and necklaces.

حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَكَمُ قَالَ صَلَّى بِنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ بِجَمْعٍ الْمَغْرِبَ ثَلَاثًا بِإِقَامَةٍ قَالَ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ وَذَكَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ

Al-Hakam said: Sa'eed bin Jubair led us in praying Maghrib in Muzdalifah, three rak'ahs with an iqamah. Then he said the salam, then he prayed 'Isha' with two rak'ahs. Then he stated that 'Abdullah bin 'Umar did that, and he stated that the Messenger of Allah did that.

أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ وَذَكَرَ ← ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ ← صَلَّى بِنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ بِجَمْعٍ الْمَغْرِبَ ثَلَاثًا بِإِقَامَةٍ ← الْحَكَمِ ← شُعْبَةُ، ← بَهْزٌ

حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ أَهْدَى صَعْبُ بْنُ جَثَّامَةَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رِجْلَ حِمَارٍ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَرَدَّهُ وَهُوَ يَقْطُرُ دَمًا

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (RA) said: Sa'b bin Jaththamah gave the Messenger of Allah the leg of an onager when he was in ihram, and he refused it, and it was dripping with blood.

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (RA) said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) i was treated with cupping when he was fasting.

«احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ» ← ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ← مِقْسَمٍ، ← الْحَكَمِ ← شُعْبَةُ، ← بَهْزٌ

حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعَطَّارُ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ الرِّيَاحِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَمِّ نَبِيِّكُمْ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهَذِهِ الدَّعَوَاتِ عِنْدَ الْكَرْبِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ

It was narrated from Abul- ' Aliyah ar-Riyahi, from the cousin of your Prophet (PBUH) meaning Ibn 'Abbas (RA) that the Prophet of Allah (PBUH) used to recite this du'a' at times of distress: "There is no God but Allah, the Almighty, the Forbearing; there is no God but Allah, Lord of the mighty Throne; there is no God but Allah, Lord of the heavens. Lord of the Earth and Lord of the noble Throne."

حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ وَعْلَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ قُلْتُ إِنَّا نَغْزُو هَذَا الْمَغْرِبَ وَأَكْثَرُ أَسْقِيَتِهِمْ جُلُودُ الْمَيْتَةِ قَالَ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ دِبَاغُهَا طُهُورُهَا

It was narrated that 'Abdur- Rahman bin Wa'lah said: I asked Ibn 'Abbas (RA): We are campaigning against the people of the Maghrib and most of their waterskins are made from animals that were not slaughtered properly, He said: I heard the Prophet (PBUH) say: "Its tanning is its purification."

دِبَاغُهَا طَهُورُهَا. ← رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ← فَقَالَ: ← نَغْزُو هَذَا الْمَغْرِبَ وَأَكْثَرُ أَسْقِيَتِهِمْ جُلُودُ الْمَيْتَةِ ← سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ قُلْتُ ← عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ وَعْلَةَ ← زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، ← حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ← بَهْزٌ

حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ إِنَّ هَذَا الَّذِي تَقُولُ قَدْ تَفَشَّغَ فِي النَّاسِ قَالَ هَمَّامٌ يَعْنِي كُلُّ مَنْ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ فَقَدْ حَلَّ فَقَالَ سُنَّةُ نَبِيِّكُمْ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَإِنْ رَغِمْتُمْ قَالَ هَمَّامٌ يَعْنِي مَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ مَعَهُ هَدْيٌ

It was narrated from Abu Hassan that a man said to 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas (RA): What you are saying may become widespread among the people - Hammam said: i.e., that everyone who circumam- bulates the House may then exit ihram - and he said: [It is] the Sunnah of your Prophet (PBUH), even if you dislike it. Hammam said: i.e., whoever does not have a hady (sacrificial animal) with him.

هَمَّامٌ يَعْنِي مَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ مَعَهُ هَدْيٌ ← «سُنَّةُ نَبِيِّكُمْ وَإِنْ رَغِمْتُمْ» ← هَمَّامٌ يَعْنِي كُلُّ مَنْ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ فَقَدْ حَلَّ ← لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ إِنَّ هَذَا الَّذِي تَقُولُ قَدْ تَفَشَّغَ فِي النَّاسِ ← أَبِي حَسَّانَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا ← قَتَادَةَ ← هَمَّامٌ، ← بَهْزٌ
