أخبرنا أبو عبد الله الحافظ وأبو الحسن محمد بن يعقوب بن أحمد الفقيه قالا : ثنا أبو النضر محمد بن محمد بن يوسف ، ثنا محمد بن أحمد بن النضر ، حدثني جدي معاوية بن عمرو ، ثنا زائدة بن قدامة الثقفي ، ثنا سماك بن حرب ، عن عبد الرحمن بن القاسم ، عن ابيه ، عن عائشة رضي الله تعالى عنها انها اشترت بريرة من اناس من الأنصار فاشترطوا الولاء ، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : ' الولاء لمن ولي النعمة ' قالت : وخيرها رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ، وكان زوجها عبدا ، وأهدت لعائشة لحما فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : ' لو صنعتم لنا من هذا اللحم ' فقالت عائشة : تصدق بن على بريرة ! فقال : ' هو عليها صدقة ولنا هدية ' ( 1 ) .

أخبرنا أبو عبد الله الحافظ ، اخبرني أبو محمد بن الحسن ابن محمد بن حكيم المروزي ، أنا أبو الموجة ، ثنا عبدان ، أنا عبد الوهاب الثقفي ، عن خالد الحذاء ، عن عكرمة ، عن ابن عباس أن زوج بريرة كان عبدا يقال له مغيث ، كأني انظر إليه يطوف خلفها يبكي ودموعه تسيل على لحيته ، فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم للعباس : ' يا عباس ! ألا تعجب من حب مغيث بريرة ومن بغض بريرة مغيثا ! ' فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ' لو راجعتيه فإنه أبو ولدك ' قالت : يا رسول الله ! أتأمرني ؟ قال : ' إنما أنا اشفع ' فقالت : فلا حاجة لي فيه ( 1 ) .
