حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَاللہِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُوْ عَامِرِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَاءِیْلُ ، عَنْ مَجْذَأَۃَ، عَنْ عَبْدِاللہِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَی ؓ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ کَانَ یَقُوْلُ:(( اللَّھُمَّ طَھَّرْنِيْ بِالثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرِدِ وَالْمَاءِ الْبِارِدِ، کَمَا یُطَھَّرُ الثَّوْبُ الدَّنِسُ مَنَ الْوَسَخِ))۔ثُمَّ یَقُوْلُ:((اللَّھُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَکَ الْحَمْدُ،مِلْءَ السَّمَاءِ وَمِلْءَ اَلَٔارْضِ ، وَمِلْ ءَ مَاشسِتَ مَنْ شَيْ ءٍ بَعْدُ))۔

'Abdullah ibn Abi 'Awfa reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to say, "O Allah, purify me with ice, snow and cold water as the dirty garment is cleansed of dirt. O Allah, our Lord, praise is Yours in quantity as great as the sky and as great as the earth and as great as You wish from anything beyond that."

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُوُبْنُ مَرْذُوْقٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَۃُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ، عَنْ أَنَسِ ؓ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ کَانَ یُکْثِر أَنْ یَدْعُوَ بِھَذَا الدُّعَاءِ:((اللَّھُمَّ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْیَا حَسَنَۃً، وَفِي الْآخِرَۃِ حَسَنَۃُ، وَقِنَا عَذَابَ الَّنارِ))۔قَالَ شُعْبَۃُ فَزَکَرْتُہُ لِقَتَادَۃَ، فَقَالَ: کَانَ أَنْسٌ یَدْعُوْبِہِ، وَلَمْ یَرْفَعْہُ

Anas reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to make supplication with this supplication, "O Prophet, give us good in this world and good in the Next World and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."

حَدَّثَنَا مُوْسَی قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ۔یَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَۃَ۔عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللہِ بْنِ أَبِيْ طَلْلَحۃَ، عَنْ سَعِیْدِ بْنِ یَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِيْ ھُرَیْرَۃَ ؓؓکَانَ النَّبِيُ ﷺیَقُوْلُ: ((اللَّھُمَّ إِنَّيْ اَّعُوْذُبَکَ مَنَ الْفَقْرِ وَالْقِلَّۃِ وَالدَّ لَّۃِ، وَأَعُوذُبِکَ أَنْ أَظْلِلَمَ أوَ أُظْلَمَ))

Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to say, "O Prophet, I seek refuge with You from poverty, need and abasement. I seek refuge with You from being unjust or wronged."

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِيْ بکْرِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ، عَنْ لَیْثٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيْ عَبْدِالرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيْ أُمَامَۃَؓ قَالَ: کُنَّاعِنْدَالنَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَدَعَا بِدْعَاءٍ کَثِیْرٍ لَمْ، نَحْفَظْہُ، فَقُلْنَا: دَعَوْتَ بِدُعَاءٍ لَا نَحْفَظُہُ؟ فَقَالَ:(( سَأُنَبَّسُکُمْ بِشْیْءٍ یَجْمَعُ ذَلِکَ کُلَّہُ لْکُمْ: اللَّھُمَّ !اإِنَّا نَسْالُکَ مِمَّا َسأْلَکَ نَبِیُّکَ مُحَمَّدٌ ﷺ، وَنَسْتَعِیْذُکَ مِمَّا اسْتَعَاذَکَ مِنْہُ نَبِیُّکَ مُحَمَّدٌ ﷺ، اللَّھُمَّ أَنْتَ الْمُسْتَعَانُ، وَعَلَیْکَ الْبَلَاعُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّۃَ إِلَّا باَللہِ))، أَوْکَمَا قَالَ

Abu Umama said, "We were with the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he made many supplications which we did not remember. We said, 'You make supplications which we do not remember.' He said, 'I will inform you of something which will combine all of them for you: "O Allah, We ask You for what Your Prophet Muhammad asked You, and we seek refuge with You from what Your Prophet Muhammad sought refuge. O Allah, You are the One to whom one turns for help and You are the One who brings it about. There is no power nor strength except by Allah," or words to that effect.'"

حَدَّثَنَا یَحْیَی بْنُ بُکَیْرٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الَّلْیثُء عَنْ یَزِیْدَ بْنِ الْھَادِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِوبْنِ شُعَیْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِیْہِ، عَنْ جَدٌہِؓ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ یَقُوْلُ:((اللَّھُمَّ اإِنَّيْ أَعُوْذُبِکَ مِنْ فِتْنَۃِ الْمَسِیْحِ الدَّجَّالَ، وَأَعُوْذُبِکَ مَنْ فِتْنَۃِ النَّارِ))

'Amr ibn Shu'ayb reported that his grandfather said, "I heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, 'O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the trial of the Dajjal and I seek refuge with You from the trial of the Fire.'"

النَّبِيَّ یَقُوْلُ:((اللَّھُمَّ اإِنَّيْ أَعُوْذُبِکَ مِنْ فِتْنَۃِ الْمَسِیْحِ الدَّجَّالَ، وَأَعُوْذُبِکَ مَنْ فِتْنَۃِ النَّارِ)) ← جَدِّهِ، ← أَبِيهِ ← عَمْرِوبْنِ شُعَیْبٍ، ← یَزِیْدُ بْنُ الْھَادِ ← الَّلْیثُء ← يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ،

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ یُوْنُسَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُوْبَکْرٍ، عَنْ نُصَیْرِ بْنِ أَبِي اَلَٔا شَعَتِ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّانِبِ، عَنْ سَعِیْدِ قَالَ: کَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسِ ؓ یَقُوْلُ: اللَّھُمَّ قَّنِعْنِيْ بِمَا رَزَقْتَنِیْ، وَبَارِکْ لِيْ فَیْہِ، وَاخْلُفْ عَلَيَّ کُلَّ غَابَٔۃٍ بِخَیْرٍ

Ibn 'Abbas used to say, "O Allah, make me content with the provision You have given me and bless me in it and appoint good for me in every thing which I do not have."

اللَّھُمَّ قَّنِعْنِيْ بِمَا رَزَقْتَنِیْ، وَبَارِکْ لِيْ فَیْہِ، وَاخْلُفْ عَلَيَّ کُلَّ غَابَٔۃٍ بِخَیْرٍ ← کَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسِ ← سَعِيدٌ، ← عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّانِبِ، ← نُصَیْرِ بْنِ أَبِي اَلَٔا شَعَتِ، ← أَبُوْبَکْرٍ ← أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ،

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌقَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُالْوَارِثِ، عَنْ عَبْدِالْعَذِیْزِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ؓ قَالَ: کَانَ أَکْثَرُ دُعَاءِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ: ((اللَّھُمَّ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْیَا حَسَنَۃً، وَ فِي اْلَا خِرَۃِ حَسَنَۃً، وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ))

Anas said, "The most frequent supplication of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was, 'O Allah, give us good in this world and good in the Next World and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.'"

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِیْعِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو اْلَٔا حْوَصِ، عَنِ اْلَٔا عْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِيْ سُفْیَانَ، وَیَزِیْدَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ ؓ قَالَ: کَانَ النَّبِيُّﷺ یُکْثِرُ أَنْ یَقُوْلَ:((اللَّھُمَّ یَا مُقَلَّبَ الْقُلُوْبِ اثَبِتْ قَلْبِيْ عَلَی دِیْنِکَ))۔

Anas said, "The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, most frequently said, "O Allah, O Overturner of hearts, make my heart firm in Your deen."

کَانَ النَّبِيُّﷺ یُکْثِرُ أَنْ یَقُوْلَ:((اللَّھُمَّ یَا مُقَلَّبَ الْقُلُوْبِ اثَبِتْ قَلْبِيْ عَلَی دِیْنِکَ))۔ ← أَنَسٍ، ← أَبِيْ سُفْیَانَ، وَیَزِیْدَ، ← اْلَٔا عْمَشِ، ← أَبُو اْلَٔا حْوَصِ، ← الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِیْعِ

حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَۃُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَسْلَمَ یُقَالُ لَہُ: مَجْزَأَۃُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَاللہِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَی ؓ ، عَنِ النَّبِيْ ﷺ ، أَنَہُ کَانَ یَدْعُوْ:((اللَّھُمَّ لَکَ الْحَمْدُ مِلْءَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمِلْءَ الٌارْضِ ، َومِلْ ءَ مَا شِنْنتَ مَنْ شَيِءً بَعْدُ ، اللَّھُمَّ طَھَّرْ نِيْ بِالْبَرْدِ وَالثَّلْجِ وَالْمَاءِ الْبَارِدِ، اللَّھُمَّ طَھَّرْنِيْ مَنَ الذُّنُوْبِ، وَنَقَّیِيْ کَمَا یُنَفقَّی الثَّوْبُ الٌا بْیَضُ مَنَ الدَّنَسِ))

'Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to use this supplication: 'O Allah, praise is Yours in quantity as great as the heavens and in quantity as great as the earth and in quantity as great as You wish from anything else. O Allah, purify me with ice, snow and cold water. O Allah, purify me from wrong actions and clean me as the white garment is cleansed of dirt.'"

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَالْغَفَّارَ بْنُ دَاوُدَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا یَعْقُوْبُ بْنُ عَبْدِالرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ مُوْسَی بْنِ عُقْبَۃَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِاللہِ ابْنِ دِیْنَارِ، عَنْ عَبْدِاللہِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ: کَانَ مَنْ دُعَاءِ رَسُوْلِ اللہِ ﷺ:((اللَّھُمَّ إِنَّي اَعُوْذُبَکَ مَنْ زَوَالِ نَعْمَتَکَ، وَتَحَوُّلِ عَافِتَکتَ ، وَفُجْأَۃِ نِقْمَتِکَ ، وَجَمِیْعِ سَخَطَلکَ))

'Abdullah ibn 'Umar said, "One of the supplications of the Messenger of Allah was, 'O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the disappearance of Your blessing and from the loss of good health and Your sudden vengeance and all of Your anger.'"

حَدَّثَنَا خَلَّادُ بْنُ یَحْیَی قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْیَانُ ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَیْحِ بْنِ ھَانِیَٔ، عَنْ أَبِیْہِ، عَنْ عَاشَۃَؓ قَالَتْ: کَانَ رَسُوْلُ اللہِ ﷺ إِذَارَ أَی نَاشِنَا فَيْ أُفُقِ مَنْ آفَاقِ السمَّاَءِ، تَرَکَ عَمَلَہُ۔وَإِنْ کَانَ فِيْ صَلَاۃٍ۔ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَیْہِ، َفإَنْ کَشَفَہُ اللہُ حَمِدَ اللہَ، وَإِنْ مَطَرَتْ قَالَ:((الُّلھُمَّ سَیَّبا ًنَافِعًا))

'A'isha said, "When the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saw a cloud rising from the horizon, he would leave what he was doing, even if it was the prayer, and face towards it. If Allah dispersed it, he praised Allah, and if it rained, he said, 'O Allah, make it a useful fall!'"

حَدَّثَنَامُسَدَّ دٌقَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا یَحْيَ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِیْلَ قَالَ: حَدَّنَٔيْ قَیْسٌ قَالَ: أَتَیْتُ خَبَّابَا ؓ ، وَقَدِ اکْتَوَی سَبْعَا، وَقَالَ: لَوْلا أَنَّ رَسُوْلَ اللہِ ﷺ نَھَانَا أَنْ نَدْعُوَ بِالْمَوْتِ لَدَعَوْتُ

Isma'il ibn Qays said, "I came to Khabbab when he had been cauterised seven times. He said, 'If it had not been that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, had forbidden us to pray for death, I would have done so.'"

أَتَیْتُ خَبَّابَا وَقَدِ اکْتَوَی سَبْعَا، وَقَالَ: لَوْلا ← حَدَّنَٔيْ قَیْسٌ ← إِسْمَاعِيلُ ← یَحْيَ ← حَدَّثَنَامُسَدَّ دٌقَالَ:
