Musnad Imam Shafi

عَنْ رَبِیعَۃَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللہِ الْھُدَیْرِ أَنَّہُ أَخْبَرَہُ أَنَّہُ رَأَی عُمَرَبْنَ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُ یَقْدُمُ النّاسَ أَمَامَ جِنَازَۃِ زَیْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ

On the authority of Rabi` Ibn Abdullah al-Hudayr, he told me that he had seen the age of the speech, may God be pleased with him, when the people of Azzam would come

أَنَّہُ رَأَی عُمَرَبْنَ الْخَطَّابِ یَقْدُمُ النّاسَ أَمَامَ جِنَازَۃِ زَیْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ ← رَبِیعَۃَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللہِ الْھُدَیْرِ أَنَّہُ

عَنْ عُبَیْدٍ مَوْلَی السَّائِبِ، قَالَ: رَأَیْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ وَعُبَیْدَ بْنَ عُمَیرٍ یَمْشِیَانِ أَمَامَ الْجِنَازَۃِ، فَتَقَدَّمَا فَجَلَسَا یَتَحَدَّثَان، فَلَمَّا حَاذَتْ بَھِمَا قَامَا۔أَخْرَجَ الثَّلاثَۃَ الأَ حَادِیثَ مِنْ کِتَابِ الْجَنَائِزِ

رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ← عُبَيْدٍ مَوْلَى السَّائِبِ

عَنْ عَمِرِ بْنِ رَبِیعَۃَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ:((إِذَا رَأَیْتُمُ الْجِنَازَۃَ، فَقُومُوا لَھَا حَتَّی تُخَلِّفَکُمْ أَوْ تُوضَعَ))۔

On the authority of Umar Ibn Rabi`a, he said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: (“If you see the funeral, then you should stand up.”)

عُمَرَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ،

عَنْ عَلِیَّ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ یَقُومُ فِی الْجَنَائِزِ ثُمَّ جَلَسَ

On the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to perform in funerals and then sat

عَلِيٍّ،

عَنْ عَلِیَّ بْنِ أِبِی طَالِبٍ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ یَقُومُ فِی الْجَنَائِزِ ثُمَّ جَلَسَ بَعْدَ ذَلِکَ

On the authority of Ali Ibn Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to perform in the funeral, then do some funeral

عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ

عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَلْقَمَۃَ بِھَذَا الإِ سْنَادِ أَوْ شَبِیھًا بِھَذَا، وَقَالَ: قَامَ رَسُولُ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیہِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأُمِرْنَا بِالْقِیَامِ ثُمَّ جَلَسَ فَأُمِرْنَا بِالْجُلوُسِ۔أَخْرَجَ الْحَدِیثَیْنِ مِنْ کِتَابِ اخْتِلافِ الْحَدِیثِ، وَالثَّالِثَ وَالرَّابعَ مَنْ کِتِابِ الْجَنَائِزِ

مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَلْقَمَۃَ بِھَذَا الإِ سْنَادِ أَوْ شَبِیھًا بِھَذَا،

عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللہِ رَضِیَا اللہُ عَنْہُ: أَنَّ النَّبِیَّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ کَبَّرَ الْمَیِّتِ أَرْبَعًا، وَقَرَأَبِأُمِّ الْقُرْآن بَعْدَ التَّکْبِیرَۃِ الأُ وَلَی

On the authority of Jabir bin Abd Allah, may God be pleased with him: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, enlarged the dead four times, and read the Qur’an.

جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللہِ رَضِیَا اللہُ عَنْہُ:

عَنْ عَبْدِاللہِ بْنِ عَمْرِوبْنِ الْعَاصِ:أَنَہُ کَانَ یَقْرَأُ بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآن بَعْدَ التَّکْبِیرِۃِ الأُولَی عَلَی الْجِنَازَۃِ

On the authority of Abdullah ibn Amruubin al-Aas: I was reading the mother of the Qur’an after the first takbeer on the funeral.

عَنْ طَلْحَۃَ بْنِ عَبْدِاللہِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ:صَلَّیْتُ خَلْفَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسِ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُ عَلَی جِنَازَۃٍ، فَقَرَأَ بِفِاتِحَۃِ الْکِتَابِ، فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ سَأَلْتُہُ عَنْ ذَلِکَ فَقَالَ: سُنِّۃٌ وَحَقٌّ

سُنَّةٌ وَحَقٌّ. ← ذَلِكَ

عَنْ سَعِیدِ بْنِ أَبِی سَعِیدٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ یَجْھَرُ بِفِاتِحَۃِ الْکِتَابِ عَلَی الْجِنَازَہِ، یْقُولُ:إِنَّمَا فَعَلْتُ ھَذَا لِتَعْلَمُوا أَنَھَا سُنَّۃٌ

On the authority of Sa’id Ibn Abi Sa’id, he said: I heard Ibn Abbas speak openly to the book on the funeral. He said: He said: If he says:

سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ،

َٔخْبَرَنِی أَبُو أُمَامَۃَ بْنُ سَھْلِ: أَنہُ أَخْبَرَہُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِیِّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ:أَنَّ السُّنَّۃَ فِی الصَّلاۃِ عَلَی الْجِنَازَۃِ أَنْ یُکُبِّرِ الإِمَامُ، ثُمَّ یَقْرَأَ بِفِاتِحِۃِ الْکِتَابِ بَعْدِ التَّکْبِیرَۃِ الأُ وَلَی یَقْرَأُفِی نَفْسِہِ ثُمَّ یُصَلِّی عَلَی النَّبِیِّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ وَیُخْلِصُ الدُّعَاءَ لِلْجِنَازَۃِ فِی التَّکْبِیرَاتِ لا یَقْرَأُفِی شَیءٍ مِنْھُنُّ، ثُمَّ یُسَلٓمُ سِرَّافِی نَفْسِہِ

Ell Abu Omamۃ bin Plain: Onہ Obrہ man from the owners of the Prophet peace Allہ Alیہ him: that Alsnۃ in Asalaۃ on Ganazۃ that یکbr Imam, then reads Pfathۃ book after Altکbیrۃ only Crown یqrovی Nevsہ then pray at the Prophet peace Allہ Alیہ him and concludes pray for Jnazۃ in Altکbیrat Nothing of them reads me, then surrenders to my soul-mate.

رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِیِّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ ← َٔخْبَرَنِی أَبُو أُمَامَۃَ بْنُ سَھْلِ: أَنہُ

َٔخْبَرَنَا مُطَرِّفُ بْنُ مَازِن، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّھْرِیِّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدٌ الْفِھْرِیُّ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاکِ بْنِ قَیْسٍ: أَنَہُ قَالَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِ أَبِی أُمَامَۃ

Mataraf Bin Bin Mazen told us about Muammar, about Al-Zuhri, he said: Muhammad Al-Fihri spoke to me about Al-Dahaq from Qin Qin

مِثْلَ قَوْلِ أَبِی أُمَامَۃ ← الضَّحَّاکِ بْنِ قَیْسٍ: أَنَہُ ← مُحَمَّدٌ الْفِھْرِیُّ، ← الزُّهْرِيِّ، ← مَعْمَرٌ، ← َٔخْبَرَنَا مُطَرِّفُ بْنُ مَازِن،
