Musnad Imam Shafi

عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِیَّۃَ الأَنصَارِیَّۃِ، قَالَتْ: ضَفَرْنَا شَعَرَبَنْتِ رَسُولِ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ نَا صِیَتَھَا وَقَرْنَیْھَا ثَلاثَۃَ قُرونٍ فَأَلْقَیْنَاھَا خَلْفَھَا

On the authority of Umm Attiya al-Ansari ’, she said: We have interrupted the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon us, we have said its testimony.

صِیَتَھَا وَقَرْنَیْھَا ثَلاثَۃَ قُرونٍ فَأَلْقَیْنَاھَا خَلْفَھَا ← ضَفَرْنَا شَعَرَبَنْتِ رَسُولِ اللہِ ← أُمِّ عَطِیَّۃَ الأَنصَارِیَّۃِ،

عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ:أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ غُسِّلَ ثَلاثًا

On the authority of Abu Jaafar: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was washed three times.

أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ:أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللہِ غُسِّلَ ثَلاثًا

عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِیہِ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللہَ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّم غُسِّلَ فِی قَمِیصٍ۔

On the authority of Ja`far ibn Muhammad, on the authority of Abiہ: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was washed in a shirt ص

أَبِيهِ ← جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ

عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّ عُمَرَبْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُ غُسْلَ وَکُفِّنَ وَصُلِّیَ عَلَیْہِ۔

عَنْ عَائِشَۃَ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْھَا قَالَتْ: لَوِاسْتَقْبَلْنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا مَا اسْتَدْبَرْنَا مَا غَسَّلَ رَسُولَ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلانِسَاؤُہُ

On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said: If only we had received from our matter what we had in mind, what was the Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, washed

لَوِاسْتَقْبَلْنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا مَا اسْتَدْبَرْنَا مَا غَسَّلَ رَسُولَ اللہِ إِلانِسَاؤُہُ ← عَائِشَةَ

عَنْ جَدَّتِھَا أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَیْسٍ: أَنَّ فَاطِمَۃَ بِنْتَ رَسُولِ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْصَتْ أَنْ تُغَسِّلَھَا إِذَا مَاتَتْ ھِیَ وَعَلِیٌّ فَخَسَّلَتْھَا ھِیَ وَعَلِیُّ۔أِخْرَجَ السَّبْعَۃَ الأَحَادِیثَ مِنْ کِتِابِ الْجَنَائِزِ

عَائِشَةَ

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُ:أَنَّ النِّبِیَّ صَلَّہ اللہُ عَلَیہِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:((مِنْ خَیْرِ ثِیَا بِکُمْ الْبَیَاضُ فَلْیَلْبَسْھَا أَحْیَاؤُکُمْ، وَکَفِّنُوا فِیھَا مَوْتَاکُمْ))۔أَخْرَجَ الأَوَّلَ مَنْ کِتَابِ الْجَنَائِزِ، وَالثَّانِی مِنْ کَتَابِ الْحَجِّ مِنَ الأَمَالِی

سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، یَقُولُ: کُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَخَرَّ رَجُلٌ عَنْ بَعِیرِہِ فَوُقِصَ مَمَاتَ۔فَقَالَ النَّبِیُّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ:((اغْسِلُوہُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَکَفِّنُوہُ فِی ثَوْبَیْہِ، وَلا تُخَمِّرُ وارَأُسَہْ))

کُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللہِ فَخَرَّ رَجُلٌ ← ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ،

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُ أَنَّ النَّبِیَّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:((وَخَمِّرُا وَجْھَہُ وَلا تُخَمِّرُ وارَأْسَہْ وَلا تَمَسَّوہُ طِیبًا، فَإِنَّہُ یُبْعَثُ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَۃِ مُلَبِیَاّ))

Ibn Abbas, may Allہ Anہ that the Prophet, peace be upon him Allہ Alیہ said: ((and wine and Jھہ not fermenting and Arosہ not Thompsoہ good, send Vanہ day Alqیamۃ responsive))

ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ،

عَنِ ابْنِ شِھَابٍ:أِنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُ صَنَعَ مَثْلَ ذَلِکَ۔أَخْرَجَ الثَّلاثَۃَ الأَ حَادِیثَ مِنْ کِتَابِ الْجَنَائِزِ

On the authority of Ibn Shihab: that Othman Bin Affan, may God be pleased with him, made a proverb like that. He exited the three Hadiths from Ketab

عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِی الصُّعَیْرِ، أَنَّ النَّبِیَّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیہِ وَسَلَّمَ أَشْرَفَ عَلَی قَتْلَی أُحُدٍ فَقَالَ:((شَھِدْتُ عَلَی ھَؤُلاءِ فَزَ مَّلُوھُمْ بِدِ مَائِھِم وَکُلُو مِھِمْ))

It was narrated on the authority of Ibn Abi Al-Sa’ir that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, oversaw the killing of anyone, and he said: “I have witnessed this.”
