أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ،عَنْ أُمِّهِ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالَتْ: أَتَتْنِي أُمِّي رَاغِبَةً فِي عَهْدِ قُرَيْشٍ، فَسَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَصِلُهَا؟ قَالَ: «نَعَمْ» .

Tell us Shafei may Allah be pleased with him, he said: Tell us Sufian, Hisham ibn Urwa from his father, his mother girl Abu Bakr, said: My mother came to me interested in the era of Quraish, asked the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him origin? He said, "Yes."
