أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ: أَنَّ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: الْوَلاءُ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْحِلْفِ، أُقِرُّهُ حَيْثُ جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى.

Sufyan told us, on the authority of Ibn Abi Najeh, about Mujahid: that Ali, may God be pleased with him, said: Loyalty is in the same place as the gilf of allah.
