أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ: أَنَّ صَفْوَانَ بْنَ أُمَيَّةَ هَرَبَ مِنَ الإِسْلامِ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَشَهِدَ حُنَيْنًا وَالطَّائِفَ مُشْرِكًا، وَامْرَأَتُهُ مُسْلِمَةٌ وَاسْتَقَرَّا عَلَى النِّكَاحِ، قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ: كَانَ بَيْنَ إِسْلامِ صَفْوَانَ وَامْرَأَتِهِ نَحْوٌ مِنْ شَهْرٍ. أَخْرَجَ الأَرْبَعَةَ الأَحَادِيثَ مِنْ كِتَابِ أَحْكَامِ الْقُرْآنِ، وَالْخَامِسَ مِنْ كِتَابِ التَّعْرِيضِ بِالْخِطْبَةِ وَالسَّادِسَ فِي كِتَابِ اخْتِلافِ مَالِكٍ وَالشَّافِعِيِّ.

Tell us Malik from Ibn Shihab: that Safwan bin illiteracy escaped from Islam, then came to the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and saw nostalgia and Taif polytheist, and his wife, a Muslim and settled on the marriage, Ibn Shihab said, was between Islam Safwan and his wife about a month. Take out the four hadiths from the Qur’an Book of Writings, the fifth from the Book of Exposition with the sermon, and the sixth in the Book of Ketaf.
