حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِذَا كُنْتُمْ ثَلَاثَةً فَلَا يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ صَاحِبِهِمَا فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ يَحْزُنُهُ وَلَا تُبَاشِرُ الْمَرْأَةُ الْمَرْأَةَ تَنْعَتُهَا لِزَوْجِهَا كَأَنَّهُ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهَا
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 4424
It was narrated from 'Abdullah from the Prophet (PBUH) that he said: "If you are three, two should not converse (privately) to the exclusion of their companion, because that makes him sad. No woman should look at another one so that she can then describe her to her husband (in such detail) that it is as if he is looking at her."
