حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُدَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ مَرَّ يَهُودِيٌّ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُحَدِّثُ أَصْحَابَهُ فَقَالَتْ قُرَيْشٌ يَا يَهُودِيُّ إِنَّ هَذَا يَزْعُمُ أَنَّهُ نَبِيٌّ فَقَالَ لَأَسْأَلَنَّهُ عَنْ شَيْءٍ لَا يَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا نَبِيٌّ قَالَ فَجَاءَ حَتَّى جَلَسَ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ مِمَّ يُخْلَقُ الْإِنْسَانُ قَالَ يَا يَهُودِيُّ مِنْ كُلٍّ يُخْلَقُ مِنْ نُطْفَةِ الرَّجُلِ وَمِنْ نُطْفَةِ الْمَرْأَةِ فَأَمَّا نُطْفَةُ الرَّجُلِ فَنُطْفَةٌ غَلِيظَةٌ مِنْهَا الْعَظْمُ وَالْعَصَبُ وَأَمَّا نُطْفَةُ الْمَرْأَةِ فَنُطْفَةٌ رَقِيقَةٌ مِنْهَا اللَّحْمُ وَالدَّمُ فَقَامَ الْيَهُودِيُّ فَقَالَ هَكَذَا كَانَ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَبْلَكَ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 4438
It was narrated that Abdullah said: A Jew passed by the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) when was speaking to his Companions. Quraysh said: O Jew this man claims that he is a He (the Jewish man) I shall ask him about something which no one would know except a Prophet. So he came and sat down, then he said: O Muhammad, of what is man created? He said: O Jew, (he is created) from both, from the water of the man and the water of the woman. The water of the man is thick; from it (come) the bones and sinews. And the water of the woman is thin; from it (come) the flesh and blood." The Jew stood up and said; This is what those who came before you said.
