حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا حَقُّ امْرِئٍ يَبِيتُ لَيْلَتَيْنِ وَلَهُ مَا يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُوصِيَ فِيهِ إِلَّا وَوَصِيَّتُهُ مَكْتُوبَةٌ عِنْدَهُ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 5118
It was narrated from Ibn Umar that the Prophet (PBUH) say: “it is not right for a Muslim man who has anything that he wants to bequeath, to stay for more than two nights without having will written with him."
