حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنِ الْعُمَرِيِّ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ رَمَلَ مِنْ الْحَجَرِ إِلَى الْحَجَرِ ثَلَاثًا وَمَشَى أَرْبَعًا وَصَلَّى عِنْدَ الْمَقَامِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَلَهُ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 5238
It was narrated from Ibn Umar that he walked rapidly from the Stone to the Stone in (the first) three (circuits of tawaaf) and walked in (the last) four, and he prayed two rak’ahs at the muqaam ' then he said that the prophet (PBUH) did that.
