حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مِنْ أَيْنَ تَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نُهِلَّ قَالَ يُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ الشَّأَمِ مِنْ الْجُحْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ قَالَ وَيَقُولُونَ وَأَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 5323
It was narrated that Ibn Umar said: A man said: O Messenger of Allah (PBUH), from where do you instruct us to enter ihram? He said- " The People of Madinah enter ihram from Dhu'l-Hulayfah, the people of ash-Shaam (Syria) enter ihram from al-Juhfah, the people of Najd enter ihram from Qam.” He said: And they say that fie people of Yemen enter ihram from Yalamlam"
