حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُلَازِمُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَدْرٍ أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ فِي نَفَرٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ حُجَّاجًا حَتَّى وَرَدُوا مَكَّةَ فَدَخَلُوا الْمَسْجِدَ فَاسْتَلَمُوا الْحَجَرَ ثُمَّ طُفْنَا بِالْبَيْتِ أُسْبُوعًا ثُمَّ صَلَّيْنَا خَلْفَ الْمَقَامِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَإِذَا رَجُلٌ ضَخْمٌ فِي إِزَارٍ وَرِدَاءٍ يُصَوِّتُ بِنَا عِنْدَ الْحَوْضِ فَقُمْنَا إِلَيْهِ وَسَأَلْتُ عَنْهُ فَقَالُوا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَلَمَّا أَتَيْنَاهُ قَالَ مَنْ أَنْتُمْ قُلْنَا أَهْلُ الْمَشْرِقِ وَثَمَّ أَهْلُ الْيَمَامَةِ قَالَ فَحُجَّاجٌ أَمْ عُمَّارٌ قُلْتُ بَلْ حُجَّاجٌ قَالَ فَإِنَّكُمْ قَدْ نَقَضْتُمْ حَجَّكُمْ قُلْتُ قَدْ حَجَجْتُ مِرَارًا فَكُنْتُ أَفْعَلُ كَذَا قَالَ فَانْطَلَقْنَا مَكَانَنَا حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ فَقُلْتُ يَا ابْنَ عُمَرَ إِنَّا قَدِمْنَا فَقَصَصْنَا عَلَيْهِ قِصَّتَنَا وَأَخْبَرْنَاهُ مَا قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ نَقَضْتُمْ حَجَّكُمْ قَالَ أُذَكِّرُكُمْ بِاللَّهِ أَخَرَجْتُمْ حُجَّاجًا قُلْنَا نَعَمْ فَقَالَ وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ حَجَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ كُلُّهُمْ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ مَا فَعَلْتُمْ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 5939
'Abdullah ibn Badr said that he went out with a group of his companions for Hajj. When they came to Makkah, they entered the mosque and touched the (Black) Stone. Then we circumambulated the Ka'bah seven times, then we prayed two rak'ahs behind the Maqaam. Then we saw a huge man wearing an izaar and rida', calling to us at the cistern. We went towards him, and I asked about him and they said that he was Ibn 'Abbaas. When we reached him he said: Who are you? We said: People of the Hast, and there are people from al-Yamaamah too. He said: Have you come for Hajj or 'umrah? I said: Hajj. He said; you have rendered your Hajj invalid. I said: I have done Hajj several times, and l did the same thing (each time). We went to our place, waiting until Ibn 'Umar came. Then I said: O Ibn 'Umar, we came here- And I told him our story and what (Ibn 'Abbaas) had said: You have rendered your Hajj invalid. He said: I adjure you by Allah, did you come out for Hajj? I said: Yes. He said: By Allah, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), Abu Bakr and 'Umar did Hajj, and all of them did what you have done.
