حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْبَطِينِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ إِذَا قَرَأَ سَبِّحْ اسْمَ رَبِّکَ الْأَعْلَی قَالَ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَی قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد خُولِفَ وَکِيعٌ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ وَرَوَاهُ أَبُو وَکِيعٍ وَشُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ مَوْقُوفًا
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 883
Ibn Abbas reported; when the prophet ﷺ recited: “Glorify the name of thy Lord, the Most High. ” He would say: ”Glory be to Allah, the most High”. Abu Dawud said; In this tradition the other narrators have differed from the narrator Wakl. This has been narrated by Wakl, and Shubah from Abu Ishaq, from Sa’ld bin Jubair, from Ibn Abbas as his own statement (and not from the Prophet)
