حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَابِسٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ خَرَجْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ فِطْرٍ أَوْ أَضْحًى فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ خَطَبَ ثُمَّ أَتَى النِّسَاءَ فَوَعَظَهُنَّ وَذَكَّرَهُنَّ وَأَمَرَهُنَّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ

It was narrated that 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Abis said: I heard Ibn 'Abbas (RA) say: I went out with the Prophet (PBUH) on the day of Eid ul-Fitr - or al-Adha and he prayed, then he delivered the khutbah, then he went to the women and xhorted them and reminded them and enjoined them to give charity.
