حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ کَثِيرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ وَالْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وَفِطْرٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ سُفْيَانُ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ سُلَيْمَانُ إِلَی النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرَفَعَهُ فِطْرٌ وَالْحَسَنُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْسَ الْوَاصِلُ بِالْمُکَافِئِ وَلَکِنْ هُوَ الَّذِي إِذَا قُطِعَتْ رَحِمُهُ وَصَلَهَا
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 1697
Abdullah bin Amr said: (Sufyan said: The version of the narrator Sulaiman does not go back to The Prophet ﷺ. Fitr and al-Hasan reported from him ): The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: One who compensates is not a man who unites relationship: but the man who unites relationship is the one who joins it when the relationship is cut off.
