حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يَدْعُو يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِکَ مِنْ الْکَسَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
جامع ترمذی · Hadith 3485
Anas narrated that : The Prophet (ﷺ) used to supplicate, saying: “O Allah, indeed, I seek refuge in You from laziness, weakness of old age, cowardice, stinginess, the trial of Al-Masih, and the punishment of the grave (Allāhumma innī a`ūdhu bika minal-kasali wal-harami wal-jubni wal-bukhli wa fitnatil-masīḥi wa `adhabil-qabr).”
