حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ عَنْ عَدِيِّ ابْنِ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا مِنْکُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا سَيُکَلِّمُهُ رَبُّهُ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهُ تُرْجُمَانٌ فَيَنْظُرُ أَمَامَهُ فَتَسْتَقْبِلُهُ النَّارُ وَيَنْظُرُ عَنْ أَيْمَنَ مِنْهُ فَلَا يَرَی إِلَّا شَيْئًا قَدَّمَهُ وَيَنْظُرُ عَنْ أَشْأَمَ مِنْهُ فَلَا يَرَی إِلَّا شَيْئًا قَدَّمَهُ فَمَنْ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْکُمْ أَنْ يَتَّقِيَ النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ فَلْيَفْعَلْ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 1843
It was narrated from' Adi bin Hatim that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: "Each one of you will be spoken to by his Lord, with no media tor between them. He will look in front of him and the Fire will be facing him. He will look to his right and will not see anything but something that he had sent on before. He will look to his left and will not see anything but something that he had sent on before.Whoever among you can save himself from the Fire, even with half a date, let him do so." (Sahih)
