حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْإِسْبَالُ فِي الْإِزَارِ وَالْقَمِيصِ وَالْعِمَامَةِ مَنْ جَرَّ شَيْئًا خُيَلَائَ لَمْ يَنْظُرْ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ أَبُو بَکْرٍ مَا أَغْرَبَهُ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 3576
It was narrated from Salim from his father, that the Prophet P.B.U.H said: "Hanging down may apply to the waist wrap, shirt or turban. Whoever lets any of these drag out of pride, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection." (Hasan) Abu Bakr (the narrator from whom Ibn Mejah heard this Hadith) said: "How strange it is!(i.e. the chain of narrators.)
