حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ لِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اقْرَأْ عَلَيَّ فَقَرَأْتُ عَلَيْهِ بِسُورَةِ النِّسَائِ حَتَّی إِذَا بَلَغْتُ فَکَيْفَ إِذَا جِئْنَا مِنْ کُلِّ أُمَّةٍ بِشَهِيدٍ وَجِئْنَا بِکَ عَلَی هَؤُلَائِ شَهِيدًا فَنَظَرْتُ إِلَيْهِ فَإِذَا عَيْنَاهُ تَدْمَعَانِ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 4194
It was narrated that 'Abdullah said: "The Prophet P.B.U.H said to me: 'Recite Qur'an to me: so I recited Sural An-Nisai' to him, and when I reached (the Verse): "How (will it be) then, when We bring from each nation a witness and We bring you as a witness against these people?" I looked at him, and his eyes were filled with tears." (Sahih)
