حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عُيَيْنَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ کَانَ فِي جَنَازَةِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ وَکُنَّا نَمْشِي مَشْيًا خَفِيفًا فَلَحِقَنَا أَبُو بَکْرَةَ فَرَفَعَ سَوْطَهُ فَقَالَ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنَا وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَرْمُلُ رَمَلًا
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 3182
Uyaynah ibn Abdur Rahman reported on the authority of his father that he attended the funeral of Uthman ibn Abul As. He said: We were walking slowly. Abu Bakrah then joined us and he raised his flog at us and said: You have seen us when we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. We were walking quickly.
