سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَبْنَ عَبْدِ اللہِ، یَقُولُ:َکَانَ مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلِ یُصلِّی مَعَ النَّبِیُّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعِشَاءَ أَوِ الْعَتَمَۃَ، ثُمَّ یَرْجِعُ فَیُصَلِّیھَا بِقِوْمِہِ فِی بَنِی سَلَمَۃَ، قَالَ:فَأَخَّرَ النَّبِیُّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعِشَاءَ ذَاتَ لَیْلَۃٍ، قَالَ: فَصَلَّی مُعَاذٌ مَعَہُ، ثُمَّ رَجَعَ فَأَمَّ قَوْمَہُ، فَقَرَأَ سُورَۃَ الْبَقَرَۃِ فَتَنَحِّی رَجُلٌ مِنْ خَلْفِہِ فَصَلَّی وَحْدَہُ، فَقَالُوا لَہُ:أَنَافَقْتَ؟ قَالَ: لا، وَلَکِنْ آتِی رَسُولُ اللہُ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ ،فَأَتَاہُ، فَقَالَ:یَا رَسُولَ اللہِ، إِنَّکَ أَخَّرْتَ الْعِشَاءَ، وَإِنَّ مُعَاذَا صَلَّی مَعَکَ، ثُمَّ رَجَعَ فَأَمَّنَا، فَافْتَتَحَ بِسُورَۃِ الْبَقَرَۃِ، فَلَمَّا رَأَیْتُ ذَلِکَ تَأَخَّرْتُ فَصَلَّیْتُ، وَإِنَّمَا نَحْنُ أَصْحَابُ مَوَاضِعَ نَعْمَلُ بِأَیْدِینَا، وَإِنَّمَا نَحْنُ أَصْحَابُ مَوَاضِعَ نَعْمَلُ بِأَیْدِینَا، فَأَقْبَلَ النَّبِیُّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَی مُعَاذِ، فَقَالَ:((أَفَتَّانٌ أَنْتَ یَامُعَاذُ؟ أَفَتَّانٌ أَنْتَ یَا مُعَاذُ؟ أَفَتَّانٌ أَنْتَ؟ اقْرَأْبِسُورَۃِ کَذَا، وَبِسُورَۃِ کَذَا))۔

He said: No, but came to the Messenger Allہ peace Allہ Alیہ him, Votaہ, he said: O Messenger of Allہ, Anک delayed dinner, and Amaama upon Maک, then returned Vomna, Vavcth Psorۃ Bakrۃ, when I saw Zlک was delayed and I prayed, but we are the owners of positions we are working with our own hands But we are the subjects of things that we do with our own hands, so the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, accepts Ma’an (so): O forbid? You are scourges? Agheropsorۃ کma, and Psorۃ کma)).
