قَالَ الشَّافِعِیُّ فِی کِتَابِہِ : أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْیَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِینَارٍ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِیُّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَہُ ۔ أَخْرَجَ الأَوَّلَ مِنْ کِتَابِ مَالِکٍ وَالشَّافِعِیِّ وَإِلَی آخَرِ السَّابِعِ مِنْ کِتَابِ اخْتِلافِ عَلِیُّ وَعَبْدِ اللہِ مِمَّا لَمْ یَسْمَعِ الرَّبِیعُ مِنَ الشَّافِعِیِّ۔

Al-Shafi’i said in his book: Sufyan told us, on the authority of Amr ibn Dinar, on the authority of Tawoos, on the authority of Ibn Omar, on the authority of the Prophet, on the authority of the Prophet, on the authority of the Prophet, He brought the first out of the Book of Malik and Al-Shafi’i and to the last of the seventh from the Book of the Disagreement on Ali and the servant of God, which he did not hear.
