Abu Hurayrah learned directly from the Prophet ﷺ during his three years of close companionship, and supplemented his knowledge by studying with senior Sahaba in Madinah.
لِي فِرْعَوْنُ بَارَكَ اللَّهُ فِيك لَقُلْت وَفِيك.
عُبَيْدَةَ بِشَيْءٍ لَحَدَّثْتُ عَنْهُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ»،
لِي فِرْعَوْنُ: بَارَكَ اللَّهُ فِيكَ، قُلْتُ: وَفِيكَ، وَفِرْعَوْنُ قَدْ مَاتَ.
لِي رَجُلٌ: أَمُؤْمِنٌ أَنْتَ مَا كَلَّمْتُهُ أَبَدًا
الرَّجُلُ لِامْرَأَتِهِ: قُومِي اذْهَبِي وَنَحْوَ هَذَا، وَهُوَ يُرِيدُ الطَّلَاقَ كَانَ طَلَاقًا
هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ مَا قَاتَلْتُهُ

الناس بهذا، لكذبونا؛
عُبَيْدَةَ بِشَيْئٍ لَحَدَّثْتُ عَنْهُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ
أحَدُهُمْ إذَا غَضبَ: أعُوذُ بالله من الشَّيطَانِ الرّجِيم ذَهَبَ عَنْهُ غَضَبُه. ط
أفئدةَ الناسِ، لازْدَحَمَت عليه فارسُ والرومُ.
