Abu Hurayrah learned directly from the Prophet ﷺ during his three years of close companionship, and supplemented his knowledge by studying with senior Sahaba in Madinah.
صَلُّوا عَلَى صَاحِبِكُمْ.
نرجو أو نخشى أن نلقى العدو وليست معنا مدى أفنذبح بالقصب
بأمْرٍ أعْتَصِمُ به.
«هُوَ جِبْرِيلُ رَأَيْتُهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ رَأَيْتُهُ بِالْأُفُقِ الْأَعْلَى وَرَأَيْتُهُ بِالْأُفُقِ الْمُبِينِ»
بِأَمْرٍ أَعْتَصِمُ بِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ امْلِكْ هَذَا وَأَشَارَ إِلَى لِسَانِهِ.
كُنَّا نَأْتِي الْكَهَنَةَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ،
قد تحدثنا أنك ناكح درة بنت أم سلمة
بِأَرْضٍ كَثِيرٍ أَخَبَازُهَا وَبُقُولُهَا وَنَشْرَبُ النَّبِيذَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ،
صلوا على صاحبكم فتغيرت وجوه القوم لذلك فلما رأى الذي بهم
بأرض كثيرة أخبازها وبقولها ونشرب النبيذ على ذلك
نكون في البادية فتكون من أحدنا الرويحة
لَنَرْجُو أَوْ نَخْشَى
أَنَّكَ قُلْتَ: «صَلَاةُ الرَّجُلِ قَاعِدًا نِصْفُ الصَّلَاةِ» وَأَنْتَ تُصَلِّي قَاعِدًا.
بِكَلِمَاتٍ أَعِيشُ بِهِنَّ وَلَا تُكْثِرْ فَأَنْسَى،
بِعَمَلٍ يُدْخِلُنِي الْجَنَّةَ،
بِكَلِمَاتٍ أَعِيشُ بِهِنَّ وَلَا تُكْثِرْ عَلَيَّ فَأَنْسَى
