Abu Hurayrah's narrations reach us through a vast network of teachers and students. He learned directly from the Prophet ﷺ and from senior companions, and in turn became the teacher of hundreds of Tabi'un — the generation whose preservation of his narrations forms the backbone of the major Hadith collections.

Abu Hurayrah learned directly from the Prophet ﷺ during his three years of close companionship, and supplemented his knowledge by studying with senior Sahaba in Madinah.
وَإِيشِ
يَقْرَأُ وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَی
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ تَطَهَّرِي فَاجْتَبَذْتُهَا إِلَيَّ فَقُلْتُ تَتَبَّعِي بِهَا أَثَرَ الدَّمِ
عَبْدَ اللَّهِ يَقْرَأُ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى وَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّى
في النَّجوَى يومَ القيامة؟،
رَسُولِ اللَّهِ
رَسُولَ اللهِ يُصَلِّي عَلَى الْجِنَازَةِ
رَسُولَ اللهِ يُصَلِّي عَلَى الْجَنَائِزِ؟
رَسُولَ الله فِي النَّجْوَى؟
عَبْدَ اللَّهِ يَقْرَأُ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَی
عبد الله يقرأ والليل إذا يغشى فقلت والنهار إذا تجلى والذكر والأنثى
تأخذني فإذا تطهرت منها عاودتني
أنت خلقتها أو خلقته
عَبْدَ اللَّهِ يَقْرَأُ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ: {وَاللَّيْلُ إِذَا يَغْشَى} [الليل:
رَسُولَ اللَّهِ يُصَلِّي عَلَى جَنَائِزَ
يقرأ: {وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى [الليل:
النَّبِيِّ
وُهَيْبٌ: ثُمَّ
يوم أدخلت يوم الله السلاح
ابْنَ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ يَقْرَأُ: {وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى} [الليل:
اتَّبَعْتُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ رَسُول الله الله عَلَيْهِ وَسلم،
تُعْطُونَ الشَّاعِرَ، وَمَنْ تَخَافُونَ لِسَانَهُ. الخطيب

تَأْخُذُنِى فَإِذَا تَطَهَّرْتُ مِنْهَا عَاوَدَنِى.
يَوْمَ أَدْخَلْتَ حَرَمَ اللهِ السِّلاَحَ.

أَمْشِي مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ آخِذٌ بِيَدِهِ إِذْ عَرَضَ رَجُلٌ
أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ فِي الْأُولَى وَالْآخِرَةِ»،
