Abu Hurayrah learned directly from the Prophet ﷺ during his three years of close companionship, and supplemented his knowledge by studying with senior Sahaba in Madinah.
مَعْمَرٌ: فَبَلَغَنِي أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ
أبو جعفر وفيما رويناه من هذا الحديث ما يدل على
مِنْ غَيْرِ مَرَضٍ وَلاَ رُخْصَةٍ.
عَوْفٌ: وَبَلَغَنِي أَنَّهُ الظِّلُّ الْمَمْدُودُ.
الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْبَاقِي بْنُ قَانِعٍ
أبو جعفر هكذا
فنفى رسول الله أن يكون منه من كان منه هذا المعنى
إبراهيم ولم أسمع من هشام إلا هذا الحديث
فكان في هذا الحديث أخذ أبي صالح إياه
أبو جعفر هكذا حدث ابن وهب والشافعي بهذا الحديث
وزاد ابن جريج ولا يجلس حتى يصلي
أبو جعفر فهذا الذي وجدناه من الأسانيد التي روي بها هذا الحديث
فِيهِ حَرَّمَ بَيْعَهَا وَثَمَنَهَا رَوَاهُ فُلَيْحٌ
أبو جعفر فسأل سائل
أبو جعفر وأسيد بن أبي أسيد هذا هو البراد
أبو جعفر وابن شفي هذا هو حسين بن شفي كما
أبو جعفر وكل هذه الآثار فمروية
