Abu Hurayrah's narrations reach us through a vast network of teachers and students. He learned directly from the Prophet ﷺ and from senior companions, and in turn became the teacher of hundreds of Tabi'un — the generation whose preservation of his narrations forms the backbone of the major Hadith collections.

Abu Hurayrah learned directly from the Prophet ﷺ during his three years of close companionship, and supplemented his knowledge by studying with senior Sahaba in Madinah.
فِي الْحَرَامِ: يَمِينٌ يُكَفِّرُهَا.
في قضاء رمضان من كان عليه شيء منه فليفرق بينه
في رجل أدخلت عليه امرأته ثم طلقها فزعم أنه لم يمسها
لا يدخل مكة تاجر ولا طالب حاجة إلا وهو محرم
في كفارات الأيمان إطعام عشرة مساكين كل مسكين مد بيضاء
في هذه الآية يوم نطوي السماء كطي السجل
الأمر إلى المولى أذن له أو لم يأذن له ويتلو هذه الآية
