Abu Hurayrah learned directly from the Prophet ﷺ during his three years of close companionship, and supplemented his knowledge by studying with senior Sahaba in Madinah.

لِي أَبُو صَالِحٍ: كُلُّ مَا حَدَّثْتُكَ كَذِبٌ [ص:313]

أَبِي صَالِحٍ بَاذَانَ
رمى رجل الحسين وهو يشرب فشل شدقه فقال لا أرواك الله
لِي أَبُو صَالِحٍ: «انْظُرْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَوَيْتَ عَنِّي

رَجُلٌ:
في قوله تعالى إن الإنسان لربه لكنود
رَمَى رَجُلٌ الْحُسَيْنَ وَهُوَ يَشْرَبُ، فَشَلَّ شِدْقَيْهِ،
فِي قَوْلِهِ: {إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنُودٌ} {العاديات:
عبد الملك بن مروان يوماً لجلسائه: من أشجع العرب؟
أَبِي صَالِحٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ:
فَلَمَّا عُمِلَ مِثْلُ عَمَلُهُ أَظُنُّهُ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ يَرْوِيهِ
لما أقبل خالد بن الوليد في خلافة أبي بكر الصديق يريد الحيرة
«هُوَ النُّبُوءَةُ» فَذَكَرْنَا ذَلِكَ لِدَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ،
لَمَّا ظَهَرَ النَّبِيُّ عَلَى أَمْوَالِ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ
