Abu Hurayrah learned directly from the Prophet ﷺ during his three years of close companionship, and supplemented his knowledge by studying with senior Sahaba in Madinah.
فَرَأَيْتُهُ رَاكِبَهَا وَفِي عُنُقِهَا نَعْلٌ
فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ رَاكِبَهَا يُسَايِرُ النَّبِيَّ وَالنَّعْلُ فِي عُنُقِهَا"، تَابَعَهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ
فَإِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ،
فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ رَاكِبَهَا يُسَايِرُ النَّبِيَّ وَالنَّعْلُ فِي عُنُقِهَا.
فَرَأَيْتُهُ رَاكِبَهَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ فِي عُنُقِهَا نَعْلٌ
يارسول اللَّهِ إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ!
