Abu Hurayrah learned directly from the Prophet ﷺ during his three years of close companionship, and supplemented his knowledge by studying with senior Sahaba in Madinah.
للغلام إئذن لي أن أعطي الأشياخ
فَأَخَذَ بِذُؤَابَتِي فَجَعَلَنِي
فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي فَأَدَارَنِي مِنْ خَلْفِهِ حَتَّى أَقَامَنِي
((يا غلام! أتأذن لي أن أعطيه الأشياخ))،
يَمِينِهِ، وَيَضَعُ إِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ عَلَى الْأُخْرَى
ثم دعا بشرابٍ، فشَرب، وناولني
عبد الله بْنُ عَمْرٍو يُوشِكُ
«هَكَذَا نُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»
رَسُولُ اللهِ يَا غُلَامُ أَتَأذَنُ لِي أَنْ أُعْطِيَهُ الْأَشْيَاخَ؟
يَمِينِهِ، فَتَفَلَ عَلَيْهِ، يَعْنِي عَلَى الْأَضُبِّ، أَوْ كَلِمَةً شَبِيهَهَا،
لَهُ عَلِيٌّ: مَا يَمْنَعُكَ مِنْ هَذَيْنِ؟
يحشر الناس فلا يبقى إلا رجلين في هذا الجبل
بيده من ورائه حتى إذا أخذ بعضدي أو بيدي حتى أقامني
لي: مه! هونا ميكائيل آنفا. فهممت أن أضربه بسيفي حتى يبرد
عَبْدُ اللَّهِ
إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ،
الشَّافِعِیُّ
وَأُتِيَ بِعَلِيٍّ وَعُثْمَانَ فَأُدْخِلَا فِي بَيْتٍ فَخَرَجَ عُثْمَانُ وَهُوَ
((السلام عليكم ورحمة الله)) حتى يرى بياض خده الأيسر.
أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ: هُمَا مَهْمُوزَتَانِ فِي الْحَدِيثِ
شُعْبَةُ،
وَبَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ الْقَوْمُ، فَكَلَّمَهُ وَمَا أَدْرِي مَا يُكَلِّمُهُ،
يُحْشَرُ النَّاسُ فَلَا يَبْقَى إِلَّا رَجُلَانِ فِي هَذَا الْجَبَلِ،
لِلْغُلامِ: أَتَأْذَنُ لِي أَنْ أُعْطِيَ الأَشْيَاخَ؟
