مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى إِبْرَاهيمَ في خُلَّتِهِ فَليَنْظُرْ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ في سَمَاحتِهِ، وَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى نُوحٍ في شِدَّتِهِ فَلينْظُر إِلَى عُمرَ في شَجاعَتِهِ، وَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى إِدْرِيس في رِفْعَته فَليَنْظُرْ إِلَى عُثْمَانَ في رَحْمتِهِ، وَمَنْ أَحبَّ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى يَحْيَى بْن زَكَرِيَّا في جهَاوَتِه (*) فَليَنْظُرْ إِلَى عَلِيٍّ في طَهارَتِهِ. ابن عساكر عن أَنس، وقال: هذا حديث شاذ بمرة، وفي إِسناده غير واحد مجهول (1).
