"إذا أحبَّ الله (عزَّ وجلَّ) (5) عبدًا نادى جبريل: إنى قد أحببت فلانًا فأحبه فينادى في السماء، ثم تنْزل له المحبةُ في أهلِ الأرض فذلك قول الله تعالى: {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ سَيَجْعَلُ لَهُمُ الرَّحْمَنُ وُدًّا} (1) وإذا أبغض الله عبدًا نادى جبريل: إنى قد أبغضت فلانًا، فينادى في السماءِ، ثم تنْزل له البغضاء في الأرض".ت حسن صحيح عن أبى هريرة.
