1887 - أخبرنا حميد ثنا عبد الله بن جعفر ، ثنا عبيد الله بن عمرو ، عن عبد الكريم ، عن عمرو بن شعيب ، عن أبيه ، عن جده قال : جاء رجل إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال : إني قد كنت أعطيت أمي حديقة لي ، وإنها ماتت ولم تترك وارثا غيري ؟ فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه : « وجبت صدقتك ، ورجعت حديقتك إليك »

1888 - أخبرنا حميد ثنا ابن أبي أويس ، حدثني عبد العزيز بن محمد ، عن عبيد الله بن عمر ، عن بشير بن محمد بن عبد الله بن زيد الأنصاري وهو الذي أري النداء يحدث عن أبيه قال : تصدق عبد الله بن زيد بمال له ، لم يكن له غيره ، كان يعيش فيه هو وأبواه ، فجاء أبواه إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقالا : يا نبي الله ، إن عبد الله بن زيد تصدق بماله وهو الذي نعيش به ، فدعا النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم عبد الله بن زيد فقال : « إن الله قد قبل منك صدقتك ، وردها ميراثا على أبويك » قال بشير : فورثهما

1891 - أنا حميد ثنا مسلم بن إبراهيم ، أنا همام ، قال : سئل قتادة عن رجل ، تصدق بصدقة فردها عليه الميراث ، فقال قتادة : زعم حميد بن عبد الرحمن الحميري ، أن عبد الله بن مسعود قال : إن يتصدق بها أفضل ، وإن أمسك فكتاب الله قبل صدقته قال قتادة : وسألت سعيد بن المسيب ، فقال مثل ذلك
