حدثنا سفيان بن وكيع، قال: حدثنا يزيد بن هارون، عن محمد بن عمرٍو، عن أبيه، عن جده، عن عائشة، عن أسيد بن حضيرٍ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((اهتز العرش لوفاة سعد بن معاذٍ)). قال أبو عبد الله: فتأول ناس في هذا، فقالوا: العرش سريره الذي حملوه عليه، واحتجوا بحديث رووه عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما أنه تأوله هكذا.

حدثنا الجارود، قال: حدثنا جريرٌ، عن عطاء ابن السائب، عن مجاهدٍ، عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما، قال: ذكر يوماً عنده حديث سعد: ((إن العرش اهتز لحب الله لقاء سعدٍ))، فقال ابن عمر: إن العرش ليس يهتز لموت أحد، ولكنه سريره الذي حمل عليه. قال: فهذا مبلغ ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما من علم ما ألقي إليه من ذلك، وفوق كل ذي علم عليمٌ، وأحسب أن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما قصد بما دفع من ذلك تعظيماً للعرش، فهاب من هذه الكلمة، إذ كان العرش أعلى صفوته وخلقه ومنظره الأعلى، وموضع تسبيحه، ومظهر ملكه، ومبدأ وحيه، ومحل قربه، ولم ينسب شيئاً من خلقه كنسبته، فقال: {ذو العرش}، كما قال: ذو العزة، وذو الجلال، وذو الكبرياء، وذو القدرة، وذو العظمة، وذو البهاء، وذو الرحمة، وذو الملك، ولم يجز أن يقال: ذو السماوات، وذو الأرض، وذو الكرسي، وذو اللوح، فلم تعط كلمة: ذو من جميع خلقه إلا للعرش فقط، للقرب. وذو: كلمةٌ لحق واتصال وظهور ومبدأ، فكأن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما لحظ إلى هذه الناحية، فدفع أن يكون يهتز لموت أحد.وأما سائر العلماء، فلا نعلمهم دفعوا هذا القول، فإن للمؤمن عند الله مراتب قد أتت به الأنبياء من عند الله تنزيلاً. منها: قوله تعالى: {والله ولي المؤمنين}، وقوله: {ذلك بأن الله مولى الذين آمنوا}، وقوله: {هو مولاكم فنعم المولى ونعم النصير}، وقوله: {هو سماكم المسلمين من قبل وفي هذا ليكون الرسول شهيداً عليكم وتكونوا شهداء على الناس فأقيموا الصلاة وآتوا الزكاة واعتصموا بالله هو مولاكم فنعم المولى ونعم النصير}، وقوله: {هو اجتباكم}، وقوله: {وكان بالمؤمنين رحيماً. تحيتهم يوم يلقونه سلامٌ وأعد لهم أجراً كريماً}، وقوله: {وبشر المؤمنين بأن لهم من الله فضلاً كبيراً}، وقوله: {فبشر عباد}، وقوله: {نبئ عبادي أني أنا الغفور الرحيم}، وقوله: {إن الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات أولئك هم خير البرية. جزاؤهم عند ربهم جنات عدنٍ تجري من تحتها الأنهار}. وقوله: {ألا إن أولياء الله لا خوفٌ عليهم ولا هم يحزنون}، وقوله: {يا عباد لا خوفٌ عليكم اليوم ولا أنتم تحزنون}، وقوله: {يوم ترى المؤمنين والمؤمنات يسعى نورهم بين أيديهم وبأيمانهم بشراكم اليوم جناتٌ}، وقوله: {وجنةٍ عرضها كعرض السماء والأرض أعدت للذين آمنوا بالله ورسله ذلك فضل الله يؤتيه من يشاء}، وقوله: {إن الهدى هدى الله أن يؤتى أحدٌ مثل ما أوتيتم}، ثم قال: {إن الفضل بيد الله يؤتيه من يشاء والله واسعٌ عليمٌ. يختص برحمته من يشاء}.وقوله: {لقد من الله على المؤمنين إذ بعث فيهم رسولاً من أنفسهم}، وقال: {يهدي الله لنوره من يشاء}، وقوله: {وعباد الرحمن الذين يمشون على الأرض هوناً}، ثم قال في آخره: {أولئك يجزون الغرفة بما صبروا ويلقون فيها تحيةً وسلاماً}، ثم قال: {إن الأبرار يشربون من كأسٍ}، فذكر قصتهم إلى آخرها، وقوله: {محمدٌ رسول الله والذين معه أشداء على الكفار}، وقوله: {وعد الله المؤمنين والمؤمنات جناتٍ تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها ومساكن طيبةً في جنات عدنٍ ورضوانٌ من الله أكبر}. ومنها: وقوله: {للذين أحسنوا الحسنى وزيادةٌ}، وقوله: {ولدينا مزيدٌ}. ومنها: وقوله: {للذين أحسنوا الحسنى وزيادةٌ}، وقوله: {ولدينا مزيدٌ}. منها: قوله عليه السلام: ((إن المؤمن أكرم على الله من الملائكة المقربين)). ومنها: قوله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((المؤمن أعظم حرمةً عند الله من الكعبة)). ومنها: قول معاذ بن جبلٍ رضي الله عنه: إن المتقين في الجنة لا يستتر الرب منهم ولا يحتجب. ومنها: ما جاء في شأن الزيارة في الأخبار، ووضع المنابر، والأسرة، والكراسي لهم على مراتبهم في مجلس الجبار. فروي عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: أنه قال: ((لا يبقى أحدٌ يوم القيامة في ذلك المجلس إلا حاضره الله محاضرةً، حتى إنه ليقول: يا فلان! أتذكر غدرتك يوم كذا وكذا؟ فيقول: أوَلم تغفرها لي؟ فيقول: بلى)).

حدثنا محمد بن محمد بن حسين، قال: حدثنا إسحاق بن المنذر، قال: أخبرنا الفرات بن السائب، قال: حدثنا مكحولٌ، عن أبي هريرة، وأبي الدرداء رضي الله عنهما، قالا: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((إن بيوتات المؤمنين لمصابيح إلى العرش يعرفها مقربو الملائكة من السماوات السبع، يقولون: هذا النور من بيوتات المؤمنين التي يتلى فيها القرآن)). فإذا كان نور المؤمن هناك في نور العرش مستبيناً حتى يعرفه مقربو الملائكة، فليس هذا إلا لأمر عظيم، واعتبر بهذا في الدنيا أي نور يكون هذا حتى يستبين في نور الشمس في الدنيا، فإذا كان هذا هكذا، فكيف بالنور الذي يستبين في نور العرش هناك؟!

حدثنا سفيان بن وكيعٍ، قال: حدثنا ابن نمير، عن موسى الطحان، عن عون بن عبد الله، عن أبيه، أو أخيه، عن النعمان بن بشيرٍ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((إن ما تذكرون من جلال الله في تسبيحه وتحميده وتكبيره وتهليله يتعاطفن حول العرش، لهن دويٌّ كدوي النحل به يذكرن لصاحبهن، أفلا يحب أحدكم أن لا يزال له عند الرحمن شيءٌ لا يذكره به)). وقد جاءت أحاديث في شأن وفاة سعد ما يكشف عن التأويل فيه.

حدثنا هارون بن حاتم الكوفي، قال: حدثنا أبو بكر بن عياش، عن الأعمش، عن أبي سفيان، عن جابرٍ، قال: اهتز عرش الرحمن لموت سعد بن معاذ، لما مات سعدٌ، نزل جبريل فقال: يا محمد! رجلٌ من أمتك مات اهتز له العرش، فخرج رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى المسجد، فإذا امرأة في المسجد، فقالت: يا رسول الله! إن سعد بن معاذ قد مات، فشهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم جنازته، فجلس على القبر، فقال: ((لا إله إلا الله، سبحان الله -ثم قال-: هذا العبد الصالح لقد ضيق عليه قبره حتى خشيت أن لا يوسع عليه، ثم وسع عليه)).

حدثنا عيسى بن أحمد العسقلاني، قال: حدثنا عبد الوهاب بن عطاء، قال: حدثنا سعيدٌ، عن قتادة، عن أنسٍ رضي الله عنه، قال: افتخر الحيان من الأنصار: الأوس والخزرج، فقالت الأوس: منا غسيل الملائكة: حنظلة بن الراهب، ومنا من اهتز لموته عرش الرحمن سعد بن معاذ، ومنا من حمته الدبر: عاصم بن ثابت بن الأفلح، ومنا من أجيزت شهادته بشهادة رجلين: خزيمة ابن ثابت، فقال الخزرج: منا أربعةٌ جمعوا القرآن لم يجمعه أحدٌ غيرهم: زيد بن ثابت، وأبو زيدٍ، وأبي بن كعبٍ، ومعاذ بن جبل.
