حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيدٍ، عن مالك بن أنسٍ، عن أبي الزناد، عن الأعرج، عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال: ((المؤمن يأكل في معاءٍ واحدٍ، والكافر يأكل في سبعة أمعاءٍ)).

حدثنا الحسين بن علي العجلي، قال: حدثنا أبو أسامة، قال: حدثنا بريد بن عبد الله بن أبي بردة، عن أبي بردة، عن أبي موسى، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بمثله.قال أبو عبد الله: وذلك أن الإنسان مبنيٌّ على سبعة أخلاق: على الشرك، والشك، والغفلة، والرغبة، والرهبة، والشهوة، والغضب، فهذه أخلاقه، فأي خلقٍ من هذه الأخلاق استولى على قلبه، نسب إليه دون الآخرين.ومما يحقق ذلك: قوله تعالى: {وإن جهنم لموعدهم أجمعين. لها سبعة أبوابٍ لكل بابٍ منهم جزءٌ مقسومٌ}، فأهل النار مجزؤون، مقسومون على هذه الأبواب السبعة، فكل جزءٍ منهم إنما صاروا جزءًا بخلق من هذه الأخلاق المستولية عليهم، وكذلك روي لنا عن وهب بن منبه.ومما يحقق ذلك ما:

حدثنا به أبي رحمه الله، قال: حدثنا عبد الله بن نافعٍ الزبيري، قال: حدثنا ابن شيبة، عن ابن جريجٍ، عن عطاءٍ، عن ابن عباسٍ رضي الله عنهما، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((للنار بابٌ لا يدخل منه إلا من شفا غيظه من سخط الله)).

حدثنا ابن أبي زائدة الهمداني، قال: حدثنا عثمان بن عمر البصري، قال: حدثنا مالك بن مغولٍ، عن جنيدٍ، عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما، قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((لجنهم سبعة أبوابٍ، منها بابٌ لمن سل سيفه على أمتي)).فهذا للرغبة، والأول للغضب.فابن آدم مبنيٌّ على هذه الأخلاق السبعة، فإذا ولج الإيمان القلب، نفى هذه السبعة من القلب، فبقدر قوة الإيمان، تذوب هذه الأخلاق من النفس، وعلى قدر ضعفه، يبقى ضررهن، فإذا كمل النور، وامتلأ القلب منه، لم يبق لهذه الأخلاق فيه موضعاً، ولا ولوجاً، فنفى الشك، والشرك، والغفلة أصلاً، وصار بدل الشرك: إخلاصاً، وبدل الشك: يقيناً، وبدل الغفلة: انتباهاً وكشف غطاءٍ ومعاينةً، وصار الغضب له، وفي ذاته، وصارت الرغبة إليه، والرهبة منه، وصارت الشهوة: منيةً، وكانت قبل ذلك نهمةً، فتحولت منية، وبقدر ضعف الإيمان وسقمه، يبقى من هذه الأخلاق في المؤمن، فبقي فيه شرك الأسباب، وشك الأرزاق، وغفلة التدبير في كنه الأمور، والرغبة، والطمع في الخلق، والرهبة منهم في المضار والمنافع، واستعمال الشهوات على النهمة، فإيمانه يقتضيه ما عقد في توحيده لربه، أن هذه الأشياء كلها منه، وله، فأخلاقه تمنعه الوفاء بذلك عند نوائبه، فلذلك يبقى في عرصةالقيامة محاسباً في مدة طويلة، والآخر كمل إيمانه، وامتلأ قلبه من نور الإيمان، فصار كما وصفنا بدءاً، فسقط عنه الحساب غداً.فابن آدم يأكل في معاءٍ واحدٍ، أعني: الخلقة، إلا أن هذه الأخلاق السبعة سوى الغضب، قد عملت على قلبه، فصار كأنه يأكل في سبعة أمعاءٍ، وإذا آمن، فامتلأ قلبه من نور الإيمان، سكنت هذه الأخلاق، فشبع وروي؛ لأنه قد ثقل عليه بما ولج فيه، فإذا آمن، فإنما يأكل بمعاه الذي خلق فيه، وكلما كان أوفر حظاً من إيمانه، كان أقل لطعمه بهذا المعاء الواحد أيضاً، وإذا كان كافراً، فهذه الأخلاق الستة تعمل على قلبه، حين يصير كأنه يأكل في سبعة أمعاءٍ؛ لأن الشرك، والشك، والغفلة، والشهوة، والرغبة، والرهبة، هم أعوانٌ لحرصه، فإذا حرص، لم يشبع، فاحتاج إلى الكثير، والذي سكنت عنه هذه الستة الأخلاق بولوج الإيمان قلبه، ذاب الحرص في جوفه، وثقل الإيمان في قلبه، فأكل بالمعاء الذي خلق للآدميين، فاكتفى بذلك.ومما يحقق ما قلنا:

ما حدثنا به عيسى بن أحمد العسقلاني، قال: حدثنا علي بن عاصمٍ، عن حصين بن عبد الرحمن، قال: حدثني أبو صالح السمان، قال: قدم ثلاثون راكباً على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من غفارٍ، فيهم رجلٌ يقال له: أبو بصرة مثل البعير، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لأصحابه: ((تبددوا القوم)). فجعل الرجل يقيم الرجل، والرجل يقيم الرجلين، على قدر ما عنده من الطعام، حتى تفرق القوم غير أبي بصرة، قال: وكل القوم يرى أن ليس عنده ما يشبعه، فلما رأى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ذاك، قام، فاستتبعه، فتبعه، فلما دخل، دعا له بطعامٍ، فوضعه بين يديه، فكأنما لحسه، ثم دعا له بقدحٍ، فحلب له فيه، فشربه، حتى حلب له في سبعة قداح، فشربها، فبات عند رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فعرض عليه الإسلام، فتكلم بشيء منه، فلما خرج رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، إلى صلاة الغداة، استتبعه، فتبعه، فصلى معه الغداة، فلما سلم رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، أقبل على الناس بوجهه، فقال: ((علموا أخاكم وبشروه))، فأقبل القوم بنصحٍ يعلمونه، فألقىرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ثوباً حين أسلم، ثم قام فاستتبعه، فتبعه، فلما دخل دعا له بطعامٍ، فوضع بين يديه، فلم يأكل إلا يسيراً حتى قال: شبعت، ثم دعا له بقدحٍ، فحلب فيه، فلم يشرب إلا يسيراً، حتى قال: رويت، فضرب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم على منكبه، فقال: ((أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، وأني رسول الله، إنك كنت بالأمس كافراً، وإنك اليوم مؤمناً، وإن الكافر يأكل في سبعة أمعاءٍ، وإن المؤمن يأكل في معاءٍ واحدٍ)).
