حدثنا الفضل بن محمدٍ، قال: حدثنا يحيى ابن العيزار الرملي، قال: حدثنا يحيى بن صالحٍ الوحاظي، قال: حدثنا أبو إسماعيل -شيخٌ من السكون-، قال: سمعت مالك بن أديٍّ يقول: سمعت النعمان بن بشير يقول على المنبر: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((إنه لم يبق من الدنيا إلا مثل الذباب، تمور في جوها، فالله الله في إخوانكم من أهل القبور؛ فإن أعمالكم تعرض عليهم)).قال أبو عبد الله:فالأرواح تجول في البرزخ، فتبصر أحوال الدنيا، والملائكة تتحدث في السماء عن أحوال.الآدميين، وأرواحٌ تحت العرش، وأرواحٌ طيارة إلى الجنان، وإلى حيث شاءت؛ على أقدارهم من السعي إلى الله أيام الحياة، والعبودة لهم ومحلهم.

وحدثنا عبد الجبار، قال: حدثنا سفيان، عن عليٍّ بن زيدٍ ويحيى بن سعيدٍ، عن سعيد بن المسيب، عن سلمان، قال: إن أرواح المؤمنين تذهب في برزخٍ من الأرض حيث شاءت بين السماء والأرض، حتى يردها الله إلى أجسادها.فإذا ترددت هذه الأرواح هكذا، علمت بأحوال الأحياء، وإذا ورد عليهم من الأحياء ميتٌ، التقوا، فتحدثوا، وتساءلوا عن الأخبار، فلما كان هذا شأنهم، خرج من تدبير الله أن وكل أيضاً ملائكة بهم في عرض أعمال الأحياء عليهم؛ كإذا عرض عليهم ما يعاقبون به في الدنيا، ويصابون به من أنواع المصائب، من أجل الذنوب، كان عذر الله ظاهراً، مكشوفاً عند الأموات؛ لأنه لا أحد أحب إليه العذر من الله.

حدثنا محمد بن كرامة الكوفي الوراق، قال: حدثنا حسين الجعفي، عن زائدة، عن عبد الملك، عن ورادٍ، عن المغيرة بن شعبة، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((لا شخص أحب إليه العذر من الله عز وجل، ولذلك بعث الرسل مبشرين ومنذرين، ولا شخص أحب إليه المدح من الله، ولذلك وعد الجنة)).

حدثنا الجارود، قال: حدثنا أبو معاوية، عن الأعمش، عن شقيقٍ، عن عبد الله، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، بمثله.فكأن الله أحب عندما أمر بأن تعرض أعمال الأحياء على أمواتهم: أن يلقي إلى الأموات عذره، فيما يعامل به أحياءهم من عاجل العقوبات من الأمراض، وأنواع البلاء، والمصائب في الدنيا، فلو كان يبلغهم ذلك من غير أن تعرض عليهم أعمالهم؛ لكان وجدهم بذلك أشد.

حدثني أبي رحمه الله، قال: حدثنا قبيصة، عن سفيان، عن أبان بن أبي عياشٍ، عن أنسٍ رضي الله عنه، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((إن أعمالكم تعرض على أقاربكم وعشائركم من الموتى، فإن كان خيراً، استبشروا به، وإن كان غير ذلك، قالوا: اللهم لا تمتهم حتى تهديهم كما هديتنا)).

حدثنا عبد العزيز بن عبد الله البصري، عن كثير بن هشامٍ، قال: حدثني عيسى بن إبراهيم الهاشمي، قال: حدثني عبد الغفور بن عبد العزيز، عن أبيه، عن جده، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: أنه قال: ((تعرض الأعمال يوم الاثنين والخميس على الله، وتعرض على الأنبياء، وعلى الآباء والأمهات يوم الجمعة، فيفرحون بحسناتهم،وتزداد وجوههم بياضاً، وتشرقةً، فاتقوا الله، ولا تؤذوا أمواتكم)).فإنما تعرض على الأنبياء والآباء والأمهات للأعذار.ألا ترى أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يؤتى به إلى الميزان يوم القيامة؛ ليحضر وزن أمته؛ ليكون عذر الله ظاهراً فيمن يعاقبون.وجاء عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((إن الله يعتذر إلى آدم يوم القيامة بثلاثة معاذير)).

حدثنا بذلك عبد الله بن أبي زيادٍ، قال: حدثنا سيارٌ، قال: حدثنا أبو عاصمٍ العباداني، قال: حدثنا الفضل ابن عيسى، عن الحسن، قال: خطبنا أبو هريرة رضي الله عنه على منبر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بالمدينة، فقال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: ((إن الله يعتذر إلى آدم يوم القيامة بثلاثة معاذير: يقول الله -تبارك وتعالى-: يا آدم! لولا أني لعنت الكذابين، وأبغض الكذاب، والحلف، وأعذب عليه، لرحمت اليوم ذريتك أجمعين من شدة ما أعددت لهم من العذاب، ولكن حق القول مني لمن كذب رسلي، وعصى أمري، ولأملأن جهنم منهم أجمعين. ويقول الله: يا آدم! إني لا أدخل أحداً من ذريتك النار، ولا أعذب أحداً منهم بالنار، إلا من قد علمت في سابق علمي: أني لو رددته إلى الدنيا، لعاد إلى شرٍّ مما كان فيه، لم يراجع، ولم يعتب. ويقول الله: يا آدم! قد جعلتك اليوم حكماً بيني وبين ذريتك، قم عند الميزان، فانظر ما يرفع إليك من أعماله، فمن رجح منهم خيره على شره مثقال ذرةٍ فله الجنة، حتى تعلم أني لا أدخل النار اليوم منهم إلا ظالماً)).فإذا ستر عليه في دنياه عند الأحياء، ستر عليه عند الأموات، وكما نشر عنه الجميل، وأثنى عليه عند الأحياء، فكذلك هو عند الأموات، وإنما ذلك لمن ولي الله تدبيره، وإذا كان في ولايته، ستره؛ لئلا يرى الخلق من الأحياء والأموات معايب عبد قد ولي الله تدبيره، فأخذه من أيدي المتوكلين به، فيكون للأموات تحير في ذلك، ويقولون: هذا عبد ولي الله تدبيره، فهكذا خرج له من تدبير الله أن يعمل المساوئ والذنوب، فيستر عليه.

حدثنا سفيان بن وكيع، قال: حدثنا إسحاق بن إسماعيل الرازي، عن محمد بن مسلمٍ، عن إبراهيم بن ميسرة، عن عبيد بن سعدٍ، قال: خرج أبو أيوب الأنصاري غازياً في سبيل الله إلى أرض الروم، فقص قاصٌّ، فقال: ليس أحدٌ في الدنيا من بني آدم يعمل عملاً أول النهار إلا عرض على معارفه من أهل الآخرة في آخر النهار، ولا عمل عملاً في آخر النهار إلا عرض على معارفه من أول النهار من الغد.فقال أبو أيوب: أيها القائل! انظر ما تقول، قال له: والله! إن ذاك كذلك، قال أبو أيوب: اللهم لا تفضحني عند سعد بن عبادة، ولا عند عبادة بن الصامت بما عملت بعدها، فقال القائل: والله الذي لا إله إلا هو! ما كتب الله لعبد ولايته إلا ستر عورته، وأثنى عليه بأحسن عمله.قال له قائل: وما ولاية التدبير؟.قال: إن الله تعالى شرع السبيل، وهدى القلوب، ورزق العقول، وأكد الحجة بالرسل، وبما جاؤوا به من البيان، وأيد بالملائكة، يهدون، ويسددون، وقيل لهم: سيروا إلى الله سيراً مستقيماً في هذا الصراط، فإن عارضتكم نفوسكم بخلاف ما أمر الله، فجاهدوها، وسلوه المعونة.فهذا تدبيره الذي وضعه للجميع، فمن صدق الله في مجاهدة نفسه، حتى بلغ أقصى الغاية ومنتهاها، لم يقدر على أكثر من أن يمنع قلبه من الفكر، كما منع الجوارح من العمل، فهذا غاية جهاد النفس، وتصحيح الباطن والظاهر، ونهاية الصدق، فبذلنا الوسع، والطبع باقٍ على تركيبه من الشهوة، واللذة، والغضب، والرغبة، والرهبة، وانقطع هاهنا وتحير هذهالأشياء عنها، حدثت المعاصي إلى القلوب، ومن القلوب إلى الأركان، فانقطع هاهنا وتحير، فكما لا يقدر أن يصير سواد الشعر بياضاً، كذلك لا يقدر على تغيير الطبع، فيجأر إلى الله، ويشتد عليه وجده لذلك لكدورة الأخلاق.فإن هذه الخصال تكدر عليه إيمانه، ولا يصفو، فعندها يرحمه الله بعد انقطاع أسبابه وتغوثه بالله، صارخاً، مضطراً، وقد قال: {أمن يجيب المضطر إذا دعاه ويكشف السوء ويجعلكم خلفاء الأرض}، وقال: {والذين جاهدوا فينا لنهدينهم سبلنا}.فيأخذه من تدبيره الذي وضعه لعباده، من مجاهدة النفس إلى تدبير نفسه، وهو القادر على ذلك، فيوكل به الحق، حتى يسير به إليه إلى منازل القربة، فكلما سار في القربة، زيد مركباً من النور ليسير به إلى محله من القربة، وكل نور يزاد يموت من طبعه بقدر ذلك؛ لأنه يزداد بكل نورٍ قربة، ويحظى إلى محله، ويزداد بالله علماً، ومنه خشية، فالحق يربيه بهذه الأنوار، حتى إذا انتهت التربية، وتغير الطبع عن النفسية إلى خلق الإيمان، جذب جذبة إلى محل القربة، وانكشف له الغطاء عن جلال الله وعظمته، ما يبهت فيه، وإذا الهوى قد طاوعه، والنفس قد ماتت، فحيي قلبه بالله، فهو الصديق، فهذا، وإن كان صديقاً، وهذه صفته، فلن يخلو من ذنب قد كان في سابق علم الله، ثم جرى القلم بذلك في اللوح المحفوظ، فهو يعلمه لا محالة، ولكنه في ستره عند الأحياء، وفي ستره عند الأموات.
